  • Good for beginners
This telescope is the right tool for beginners. Assembly is easy. Recommending watching youtube video on how to set up your telescope and to adjust it. With the lenses of 300mm, it is on pair with mid tele camera lenses. The image is clear. It also come with a moon viewing filter adapter for moon viewing with more clarity. ... show more

  • Better than others at this price range, good first telescope
I bought this after returning another that cost more and had dust (!) inside the lens. This one is clear, the 70mm lens is about as good as you get at this price, and it is assembled to be clean inside. It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap which makes it good for gifting. You can observe the bright planets, they’re always hard to track with manual telescopes. There are also some great phone apps to help you find them that I wish I had as a kid, a few bucks spent on one of these makes it a lot easier to use. The phone adapter is pretty good, though it is dependent on your camera. With an IPhone 13 Pro, and using night mode and 3-10 second exposures, pictures come out very good and it makes it easy to share what your kids found with their friends. With a cheap Android phone like many kids probably have, including mine, the phone kept trying to focus on the equipment and not the lens and getting a pic to come out requires a lot of patience. There probably is an adjustment in the phone for this, but with a new-ish iPhone everything just worked. No other issues. I shopped around for several of these and found that I need to spend about twice this much to go up in clarity and at least four time as much to increase magnification and clarity. ... show more

  • A Stellar Experience
I recently purchased this telescope, and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. This telescope is an excellent choice for both beginners and more experienced astronomers. The 70mm aperture provides clear and crisp views of celestial objects. Whether you're observing the moon's craters, distant planets, or star clusters, the clarity is impressive. The telescope's magnification range, from 15X to 150X, allows you to explore a wide variety of astronomical phenomena with ease. One of the standout features of this telescope is its portability. With a 300mm focal length and a lightweight design, it's easy to take it on stargazing adventures or to different locations for optimal viewing conditions. The included phone adapter is a fantastic addition, allowing you to capture stunning images or share your discoveries with friends and family. The wireless remote control is a handy feature for adjusting the telescope's position without disturbing your view. It's particularly helpful when observing objects at high magnification. Setting up the telescope was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. It's user-friendly and suitable for kids and adults alike. The build quality feels sturdy, and the included tripod provides stability during observation sessions. In summary, the telescope is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to delve into the world of astronomy. It offers excellent value for money, exceptional clarity, and a range of features that enhance the stargazing experience. Whether you're a beginner or an enthusiast, this telescope is sure to provide hours of celestial exploration and enjoyment. ... show more

  • Great for kids
My kids really want a telescope, and I found this one at a cheap price and it is on promotion also. It is easy to install and use. My child is young, but they learned to use it very well. The height is adjustable, so both kids and adults can use this telescope. The view of the telescope is very clear. We can see clearly the object in the mountain. We want to look at the moon, but we cannot see the moon now. Thought we have to wait 15 days until the full moon to be able to look at the moon. One more point for this telescope is that there is a smartphone adapter. My younger kid did not know how to look into the telescope with one eye, but he could see it via the phone. If you are looking for a telescope with a cheap price and good quality, this is the first choice. ... show more

  • good product
The media could not be loaded. I suppose, I could've spent a lot more and been sorely disappointed. Fact is I bought this more out of curiosity, to see just how interested I was in taking the time in learning how to use one of these properly. I am not at all disappointed in the purchase of this product, yes most of the parts are plastic but the unit is fairly sturdy and was easy to put together. The description says for Adults and Kids. What's in a name.... ToyerBee. ... show more

  • More than just a kids toy
Based on the title, even though they mention adults, I assumed this was more of just a toy. Reading the reviews that kind of confirmed my thoughts. This is most definitely not a toy but more of a tool. It is fascinating learning about our night skies and then putting that information into our view of the skies through this telescope. We have discovered so much and to actually be able to see, through this telescope, what we have read about and saw pictures of in a book or online is priceless. My son and I can't wait for a clear night to we can hang out and just search the skies. It has been nice spending the time with him. A feature that we found to be fun was the ability to save what we have seen by taking photos. Don't worry about setup or getting started because in that aspect it is made for a child. Right out of the box no need for instruction. It is ready to go. Considering the cost of a decent gift for my kids this was a bargain at under $100. ... show more

  • NOT EASY TO USE
I was bummed about this one. We were super excited to use this with the kids. When we put it all together. The phone attachment wasn't easy to use and when we use the 90⁰ angle sight and put in a lens, it's hard to see anything.
