I ordered these for towing a fifth wheel camper and a 16 foot trailer behind that. These mirrors worked great. They were easy to install. My pickup isn’t equipped with heated mirrors or the turn signals in the mirror so I didn’t use that wiring. They did send the proper wiring though to wire into my truck. Mounts easily. All adjustment and light functions work as they should. Check engine light came on after installing and when scanned, found out that these mirrors do not come with the ambient air temperature sensor or wiring. Had to completely disassemble both the old and new mirrors, remove the sensor and wiring from the old mirror and install in the new one. Was a pain in the a** and wish I would have known this before ordering them. ... show more

These mirrors were a replacement for my rusting side mirrors on my 1999 F250 Superduty PU. I did not have the lights or the defrost function but I tapped into my harness and wired everything up and they are a huge improvement over the original mirrors. They fit well and with the harness adapters make wiring easy. Also easy to upgrade to the features I did not originally have. Easy to install and seem to be well made. Big improvement on the viewing area. When they arrived one of the mounting studs on the mirror had broken off. I contacted the company and they replaced it with no hassle quickly. 👍 very reasonable price for a good product. Great customer service. ... show more

NOT a simple bolt on!! They DO NOT line up as needed. Even after over a hour of adjusting, still will not pull up tight to the door frame. Crack all the way down the front side, just right for water to run inside my door!! Took OVER 3 hours to install, and still NOT happy... but I've got to pull a camper this weekend and no time to replace. These are CHEAP china JUNK!!! 2 of the 8 bolts stripped out when trying to start the nut, one came completely out of the mirror as seen in the pic. Holes do NOT line up and we had to enlarge the holes on my truck, shown in the pic, to get them as close as we did... still not all the way tight against the door. The flat surface on the bolt touches the frame before the mirror touches the door, leaving the crack. We adjusted every way possible, and could not get the crack to completely close up. After 3 hours of install, I tried to extend them out. Very tight! Plastic against plastic, no lubrication at all. When I folded the mirror in, it was ok... when I folded it back out, the cheap plastic caught and I heard a loud pop! You can see in the pic that they are already coming apart and have only been out of the box for a few hours!! CHEAP!!! I fell that I will be returning this junk!! The ONLY good thing is that the power adjust on each mirror does work. ... show more

I installed these mirrors on a buddy's 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Lariat and they look great, but were a pain to install because the diameter of the mounting posts was too large for the holes in the doors. Mounting Post Issue: The mounting posts on these mirrors were too wide to fit in the mounting holes on the door. The posts on the original mirrors are 11mm diameter and 18mm on the replacements, but the holes on the door are slightly LESS than 18mm. You have two options: widen the mounting holes or narrow the posts. (Here's a description of the door mount for those not familiar. The mirror mount on the door has two layers of sheet metal, separated by a gap. The outer layer has large holes for the mirror mounting posts to pass THROUGH. The threaded portion of the mounts in turn passes through small holes on the inner layer. And the face of the mounting posts rests against the inner layer. You then install the nuts and tighten. The problem is that the mounting posts on the new mirror are too wide to fit through the holes in the outer sheet metal. Consequently the post faces cannot rest against the inner sheet metal, so the mirror assemblies can't seat fully without modification.) Installation notes: The kit came with rectangular-to-round plug adapter harnesses, but were not needed for my installation. The mirror adjustment feature works great. The other functions (e.g., heated mirrors, lights, etc.) did not work, though we were not expecting them to as the truck was not wired from the factory for those options. I re-used the nuts from the original mirrors as they had a wider integrated washer than the replacements. I had to widen the holes in the foam weather seal so they surrounded vs. covered the mounting post faces, so it replicated the arrangement of the original mirror and seal. I tightened the nuts hand-tight using only a deepwell socket and extension - no ratchet, repeatedly tightening them all until there was no more movement. From reviews I've seen others install these mirrors with varying degrees of success. Based on my experience, I suspect some of the mounts that broke from overtightening were from trying to force too-big mounting posts into the mounting holes. Overall, this is a nice looking set of mirrors that feels durable, but I am extremely disappointed in the amount of hand-fitting required, which stretched an hour installation into three hours. If the posts had only been even 16mm diameter, I think installation would have been easy. ... show more
