I purchased one of each size of this towel rack for two reasons: to have a staggered appearance and to use the shorter rack with the divider to store hand towels and wash rags. The support bars looked crooked when I first screwed them together and I was worried that would be apparent when the towel bars were hung, but once the shelves were screwed into place, the bars straightened out and I have no problem with them. I wanted to hide the bottom support behind my towels so I turned it upside-down compared to the instructions (screws on the top) and have had no problems with structural support. As a disclaimer, I did have at least two screws in a stud for each towel bar, but I think they would be quite sturdy even just screwed into the drywall. ... show more

This towel holder does not hold the amount of towels that it shows. I had to get very creative to fit 3 standard towels in the sections. I then placed three hand towels on top of each section with wash clothes on the top shelf. The towels are very tight in the section. I’m sure when a guest goes to pull out one towel, they will all come out. 😡😭 ... show more
