This shirt is very nice. For the record I am 5‘5“, 210 pounds, bra size 36D. I purchased the XXL size which is great for what I’m looking for. It is slightly oversized, long enough to cover my inner thighs all the way down over my thighs as well as my backside. I bought the shirt style in black that has no pockets, I believe it is listed as style ‘A’. Although it is a long short with extra long sleeves, it is very slimming on the body as the fabric drapes nicely and is very flowy. If you are looking for a more fitted look, go down to the size XL, but for me, this is going to work great over fitted bellbottoms, leggings, as a jacket (worn open with a spaghetti strap or fitted cami/tank underneath), etc. I’ve looked at others, but because they are cotton or linen, they are stiff and make you look fatter because they don’t hang nicely as this style does. If you are looking for a great shirt, this is the shirt that you are looking for. I initially purchased it because I am a boudoir photographer and I have a multitude of clients that love a good white shirt photoshoot. But since buying it my wife has decided to make it hers. She truly loves how the fabric feels on her skin and as her husband, it looks amazingly good on her. She has even worn it to bed a few times because she says how soft the material feels after a good bath or shower. We have found that, with some creativity, this shirt can accommodate any style of dress a woman has. We highly recommend purchasing this shirt. We are already looking to purchase more white ones and others in different colors. Do not worry, you will be disappointed with this shirt. It literally has come in clutch a few times since it arrived. One thing I will warn you though! I would recommend that if you do iron this shirt, make sure you are using a lower heat. It may take a little longer, but I am afraid that the high heat could possibly make orange "iron" marks. I have chosen to use steam with mine instead, and we haven't had an issue yet. ... show more

I have always wanted one of these oversized sleepshirts. The feel of the fabric is so soft and feels amazing against my skin. The style isn't baggy or body at all. The pleats sewn in closely skim your body so it definitely gives off a feminine shape. There's not much stretch but fits true to size. There's no lying to yourself when it comes to ordering the size. Not if you want it to look the way it does in the pictures. You may even want to err on a size up. I ordered white which was very see-through. Mine was meant for bedroom fun/sleeping so that wasn't an issue but if you'd like to wear it out like I've read other reviewers do, order a darker color. I thought the price matched what I was getting but I wouldn't mind getting more on sale. My only complaint is that it wrinkles incredibly easily and after washing, its almost impossible to eliminate wrinkles without an iron. ... show more

super lightweight and soft! Fit is roomy and boyfriend's shirt style. the label says no machine wash but I accidentally did and it came out just fine. Update 3 years later!: I have worn these every night for three years now and they're holding up perfectly. I wash four of them twice a week and dry them with no problems. I wanted to try the newer Style B with the long tail, but the one I ordered arrived with the same cut as the other shirt- no long tail. It is like the photo of Style B otherwise- the cuffs are smaller and there are pockets and a placket, but no tail. I find the placket unnecessary and fussy and I prefer the original cuffs, so I'm returning it to get more of the original shirt. It makes me wonder why they list it with the long tail, but whatever Amazon is filled with non-matching photos. The original style is truly the perfect sleep shirt. For reference I'm 4'10" 80lbs and the Small is large and roomy and hits mid thigh. I'd love an XS if they ever decide to expand their sizing. ... show more

I'm a 16/18 and their 2X was pretty tight and buttons opened up in the chest area so I'll wear it but can't close the buttons. It's also not as long as I'd like but I'm tall at 5 ft 9. Was hoping it'd fit like a mini dress.

I ordered an x-lg but it was so small that I couldn’t fasten all the buttons. It was much shorter than I thought that it would be, barely covering all my “bits!” I was in a hurry to try it so I slept in it once. The arm holes were binding in my armpits and I felt hot even though the fabric is light, it’s too polyester to really breathe. I won’t return it because I wore it so it will go to Goodwill.
