Ordered three as gifts and received two in a thin box package and one without a box. Wondering if they updated the packaging. Wanted it to be consistent since it’s going to some kids in the family - and you know how that goes. But tested out - one quick toss - the one that wasn’t in any packaging and it lit up quickly. It's also very sturdy and stands firm. I would definitely would a recommend buying.
