These brought back lots of solid memories of growing up in the 90s. Honestly, I think these are more durable than the ones I had when I was a kid too. The Velcro is no joke. The balls will stick solidly to the paddles. We have little ones that are learning the idea of baseball and cant use a mitt with their small hands. But these have been great to get them into the motion of catching a ball. That said, the kids have pretty solid arms and they have thrown a ball or two at me with great force and they just stick to the paddle like glue! Just like I remember as a kid. These have held up well with my kids, and they were excited to play with them. The balls stick to the velcro well, and it's an item that isn't too big to store easily in a garage/shed. Fun for outdoor play in the back/front yard or to take to the beach, etc.

These are just like the ball and paddle set I had when I was a kid, except that the paddles are much sturdier. The handles work well and adjust to accommodate from kid to adult hand sizes. The "sticky paddles" don't feel very rough but still do a great job catching and holding the balls. It's nice that there are 4 paddles and 4 balls included in the set, so there's plenty to share. They all fit nicely in the included mesh drawstring bag. I thought this set was especially great for my younger children who are still working on throwing and catching skills. ... show more

My brother and I had a game like this as kids so this was the perfect gift for his ball loving toddler son. The set of 4 is perfect for allowing cousins to play too, feels like a big upgrade to the two packs. These work well and the game is as fun as I remember.

This toy brought flashbacks of when I was a kid and had the real deal. I got this for my kids since they wouldn't know the difference from the original, but I can tell. The product is made of a slightly cheaper material and quite stiff. The pictures claim it can bend and not break, but I'm not sure about that. With all that said, the product still works exactly the same. The balls are made well and stick to the paddles really tight. It's still as fun of a game as before. Keep in mind the red and blue colors are more of a pink and blue color scheme. ... show more

    • Good fun and a great step towards playing unassisted catch
These paddles and balls are a great way to step your little one into how to catch. Very forgiving and, because of that, quite a bit of fun as your kid learns how to catch and throw. Once they do this for a while you can maybe step up to bare hands or a baseball glove, but, for the really little ones, this is a lovely step in the right direction that will help build confidence while also having some good fun outside. No complaints or concerns on the build quality - just be sure to keep them clean from lint, pet hair, etc., as that'll gunk up the velcro-like material that it uses to stick. ... show more

I bought this game to play with my toddler and though it’s hard for him to move his hand fast enough to catch a small ball we have alot of fun with it. I like the quality of the balls and what I like the most is that the catchers are very sticky so you don’t have to worry about the ball falling off ever! It’s really nice that they have a net to store the components of the game to keep it together and your space organized. My husband and I also enjoy playing with it! ... show more
