I had high hopes for this, but the flavoring wasn’t really there. I tried to use it in cold foam and it has a really bad artificial taste. It just isn’t what i expected.

    • Excellent scent, flavor is easily muffled. Shake well
When I first opened the bottle the only scent I got was a cinnamon. I thought oh, alright so maybe it’s a cinnamon French toast. Tasted it, and had a very strong cinnamon flavor but with just a hint of butter. So I put the cap back on and gave it a vigorous shake. Tasted it again and it really popped. Definitely French toast flavored. Doesn’t perform all that great with cold coffee drinks, and you can taste it but it’s really subtle in hot coffee drinks. I’m thinking it may very well be an addition to a home made vanilla milkshake to make French toast milkshake. There is definitely a sad lack of maple flavor. ... show more

Let me just preface this review by saying I am an absolute cinnamon freak! I would choose a Cinnamon Bun over something that's dark chocolate. I very much love this brand of syrup, but I was shocked to taste that the syrup is not sweet at all. The other flavors of this brand I tried are sweet, but French Toast flavor is bitter! I would recommend putting this in a food recipe... do not use it in your coffee! ... show more

I added it to my Planta Banana Maple French Toast protein shake, the shake by itself was amazing but this syrup brought it to a whole new level!
