These are a joy right out of the box. The bottom of my feet hurt almost all the time now as arthritis is setting in. These make my feet feel wonderful and I feel like the unique insole gives me a slight massage every time I wear them. They do not make my feet sweat but yet they are warm and lightweight. Take care of your feet no matter what your age and the rest of your body will thank you for it. It was well worth the expense and I wish they came in a chocolate brown or a navy, as I would buy an extra pair to wear outside in the spring and fall. I love these for working around my house. I have worn them to run errands but I mostly wear them as house shoes. Easy to slip on and comfy throughout the day. Great in our California winters to keep my toes warm! Not heavy and clunky, and easy to through in the wash when they get dirty. I’ve had more foot problems than anyone I know. Six surgeries, permanent hardware, nerve damage and currently wearing a nerve stimulating implant. I found these slippers recommended for neuropathy and recovery in an article the other day and they arrived yesterday. They are by far the most comfortable and also stabilizing shoe I’ve put on my foot in years. I have so much numbness in my left foot that it doesn’t grip a sole leaving me walking out of shoes that aren’t secured. The special insole grips into the bottom of my foot and keeps it secure while also stimulating the nerves when I walk making me more comfortable and safe from tripping or falling. If you have foot issues run, don’t walk and buy these. I wish they had more colors! Also despite the fleece my feet aren’t hot, just nice and snug. I bought these slippers in mid October. They are the most comfortable slippers I have ever owned; I like everything about them except the fact that within two months, a great big bare patch appeared in the right slipper where all the fuzz wore off on the right big toe area. (See my picture.) I wear slippers all day, every day, from fall through spring since I work from home. I expect my slippers to show wear sooner because of this. But this was much earlier than I’d expect slippers this expensive to wear through to bare fabric; if they weren’t so perfectly comfortable and didn’t have such excellent footbed support, I’d have rated them lower. And if not for the wearing out issue, I’d give them a glowing five stars. ... show more
