These things are awesome, they look great, are super sturdy and were pretty easy to assemble. I installed mine on a piece of 3/4" plywood. I got a tip from DIYTyler on youtube which made assembly super easy. Here is what I did to install these bad boys. I first used a pencil to draw where all the rocks were going to go on my piece of plywood (I just marked the holes) and I denoted what color was there because the holes are not the same on the different color pieces. Then I used a 1/2" spade bit to drill all the holes, this 1/2" is required because that is how big your tnut is. I then hammered in the t nuts into the holes on the back of my plywood. Here is where the tip comes in, I used an angle grinder to remove the "L" part of the included allen wrench so I was left with just a straight allen wrench instead of an "L" shaped. I then inserted the straight allen wrench into my drill and simply drilled the bolts through the rocks and into the nuts and this saved a ton of time because if I had to do this by hand for each rock it would have taken forever. There were a few examples where I had to have someone push on the tnut from behind the piece of wood while I drilled on the front of the wood, but this was rare. The rocks are perfect for my wall. I decided to build a 10 foot climbing wall for my kids and thirds did the trick. They hold grown adults as well. The rocks went in easy and the shapes allow for different grips. The bright colors add to the rest of the playset. The hardware was perfect, it allows for use on different size pieces of wood. These worked perfectly for our rock climbing wall addition to our kids play set. They are big for little kids to grab. Easy but time consuming to install. Bright and colorful. They are a little expensive compared to others but worth it. I purchased 2 for this wall but have about 1/2 of the second box leftover. We probably could have made 1 box but that’s okay.     • Good for kids climbing wall
We had to buy different screws. I believe it comes with bolts but we were building a climbing wall in a bedroom so we couldn’t access the back side of the wall to use the bolts. Once we got the right screws they went on fine and are very sturdy and easy for the kids to climb.

Great holds. Easily installs and very sturdy. I used these as a beginner climb platform for my granddaughter but will have no problem using them on a vertical wall as well. We bought these so we could build an indoor climbing wall for our children to use and it has been one of our favorite purchases. My husband mounted them on a pieces of ply board and then mounted the board to our hallway wall. This has created endless play opportunities for our children they can climb up and down and climb across and pretend like the floor is lava we will be purchasing more to build and outside wall at some point.
