So I haven't put the baby in the baby seat yet, but I already love it. I won't put the baby in the seat until it's warm enough to take her for a ride. I don't want to upset her. We returned a different bike seat for this one. The other one was not a rack mounted bike seat, and it did not work well. This bike rack was easy to install, because my bike is already manufactured to take a bike rack. My only complaint is that the front metal straps were not long enough, so my husband had to fabricate us longer straps. This rack will fit a 29" wheel, but the straps that you have to use have to be about 2" longer to make the rack flat like it needs to be. I do have a medium frame bike. It looks like the seat itself is well designed, and she will be comfortable sitting in it with a helmet. I can pedal comfortably and the seat does not interfere at all. I'm really excited to be able to get out and use this seat. ... show more

If you have a mountain bike, many designs of kid bike carriers don't fit and especially on small frame bikes and women's bikes...this was the only one that fit mine with the rack in back. I tried too brands like thule mounting to frame, front style seats, etc and they all didn't fit. This seat is unique in the fact it has shocks under it so your babe wouldn't feel the bumps and have more of a comfortable ride. The recline is enough and has room for helmet and doesn't slouch too forward. The straps are safe and adequate. The padded bar I think my babe likes a lot and grabs on to it. ... show more

Hard to find a seat that will fit a women's 29 Trek. This is awesome! Not cheap but all parties involved LOVE it! The best feature is that you can easily remove the kid seat, load it in the car, and put the bike on the car bike rack. Fast process!

This is (in my opinion) literally the best carrier seat you could get for your child. It is top quality, and has comfy padding with a ton of adjustments available! My daughter loves her seat and going on rides. The rack itself is great, fits perfect. I've had it mounted to a hardtail MTB as well as a 700c gravel bike currently. My favorite part, has to be the ease of installing and removing the seat from the rack itself, just WOW! Topeak really has made an outstanding product. My child is comfortable and safe in this seat and she absolutly loves it! I have to admit I was pretty fustrated with the installment of the seat. I ended up having to order a little part to screw it to. No big deal all said and done. I find it sits fairly high, not sure if that's normal so anytime she moves, I feel it big time! Used on a rocky mountain 26 incher with disc brakes, actually. The system has performed well, unsure if the suspension actually does anything, but I have nothing to compare to. Overall we have used this for a few months regularly and it has performed well with no issues. I was impressed with the quality of the rack and hardware included; also the seat cushion seems to have the right amount of cushion and breathability. I like that there is extra headroom so that wearing a helmet is not an issue with comfort. ... show more
