Time will tell if they are going to last. I have a throttle on one side and 2 shifters on the other. I needed a half grip on both sides and found these. They are obviously a cheap pleather. For the price I’ll take it. Must have came all the way from china on a tanker ship, so be prepared to wait 😉

I got this for an ebike build based on an old mountain bike with grip shifters. Use a little isopropyl alcohol as a lubricant to put them on and they'll be pretty solid once it evaporates. Once dry you can still twist them for adjustment with some effort, but they are tight enough to stay put under normal use. ... show more

Wish they were softer. I added cushion to them, but important to ha e them positioned correctly, bring to shop to adjust…maybe the seat too…if your having nerve pinching issues.

Comfort yes but with twist shifters these won't "set" and twist off bars. Tried every stick substance. Conclusion they are too soft internally to have a firm grip on bars

Yep. I'm using them on my road bike. I'm one of those cyclists who rides 150 miles per week with rides typically in the 30 to 40 mile range. A couple times a month, I'll ride 60 to 90 miles in a single ride. I put a lot of weight on the palms of my hands and I spend most of the time in the drops. I bought these little grips and installed them on the ends of my drop bars. That was easy. I cut the bar tape and slid them on with a bit of soapy water. They have a slight indention in the ends of them which slid right over the bar tape and look nicely finished,. These do look super dorky on a road bike. I wish they came in black. But they do a great job of spreading out the weight on my hands and they are surprisingly comfortable. I'm not sure if they dampen vibrations much but I really like them regardless. Time will tell how they hold up and if they stay put. If they rotate much, they'll become annoying. And if they get sticky or degrade in the sun, that won't be good. For now, though, with a few rides on them, they are great for this. I'll let you all know how they hold up in some future edit. Keep in mind, they are indeed 'mini' grips. They are short. About 3 1/2" long. Perfect for what I used them for but they might be short if you're using them on a mountain bike. If you are having the same problem I am and if you can prioritize comfort over vanity, give these things a try. ... show more
