The sign is thin metal and that's a good thing. It is easy to hang. I never heard the saying until after my daughters had daughters of their own. I thought, what a sweet saying. This is a very thick, sturdy, durable sign for the price! Super cute, can probably match any decor style. The sign finish has an oil-slick like shimmer to it, so it looks brown just looking at it, but light will hit it just right and it gets a blue-ish hue. THIS WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED. Not only is the price good, it have a lovely finish that will look wonderful on the wall. The hook on the back is well placed and I can't wait to hang it. I actually bought it as a gift but am now going to keep it for myself. The workmanship is great, but I can't say enough about the finish. It is so pretty. If you really want this wall art to stand out, frame it. Sure you can hang it as is. The spot-welded hanging hasp on the back makes it easy. I really liked the design and color of the moon. It is a shiny color and the shape is excellent for my design. It also has a shiny texture and feels very smooth. It didn't have a place to hang it up from which was odd so I had o place mine on the table. But it is big like a foot tall and it is good width as well. This sign will be perfect to hang in the office. Very nice quality and not overly huge. Will look really nice on a wall that is painted a brighter color as that will show through the letters. I wouldn't advise hanging this on say a dark wall. Nice metal construction and the hanging mount is welded on, so you can feel safe that this will stay up on your wall.
