I am a lipstick junkie and have tried all sorts of lipsticks. These are fairly good quality and I rate it a 5 because of the ease of application,beautiful packaging and the colors. Even though they are listed as being very matte, they are smooth to apply and do not dry out my lips like other matte lipsticks. The staying power is not the greatest, had to reapply couple times, but I don't mind that part at all. The colors were a bit darker than I expected, the lightest shade is a soft shade of pink and the other 2 colors are berry pink and a a dark pinkish red.Somewhat transfer resist, but you would have to use a primer, and setting powder. They came beautifully packaged and the individual lipsticks lock nicely in place.That way I am not worried about hunting the cap in my purse! I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are for because this lipstick is great! Admitidly, the colors you get aren't exactly the colors shown which are much more vibrant and pigmented, but I tried them on without looking at the swatches and I honestly love every color and didn't realize it wasn't exactly what I was supposed to be getting until I had a look and compared- but I'm still not disappointed at all! I'm not a huge fan of lime crime and those matte liquid lipstick products- I find then drying and I don't always like that look of the color just sitting on top of the lip, so I thought I'd try this matte lip color. I love the creamy consistency- it goes on really smooth and feels really velvety on your lips- I got a rich opaque, matte color deposit with only one pass, and it's easy to build on the color with more passes. It's not quite as pigmented as a liquor lipstick would be but it actually blends into your lips and doesn't have that stuck on, sitting on the surface look if you know what I mean? Id say the only positive thing about liquid lipsticks like lime crime have and this doesn't, is being kiss-proof... This will definitely come off on cups, clothes, other people- so just be careful! If anyone knows if this brand also makes lip liner in the same shades please comment the link! I love these 3 colors so much they will definitely be getting daily wear- I'm probably going to order all the other color sets eventually and I can't wait to try them! Super happy to discover these- a great Amazon find! Photo- came neatly packaged in pink:) just a quick swatch...meaning I was too lazy to exfoliate, prime, or line...but you get the idea! Pro: Colors are very flattering although it is hard to tell because of the way these can be viewed. They are very pigmented, and they really are not drying. They are long wear as well. (my test is putting a color on before bed and then checking in the morning after rolling around on a old pillow case) The result is reasonable fade but the color is still there. Cons: They transfer hella lot for about an hour. I mean like this is a great lipstick for walking around or anything not eating. It helps to "set" them with powder and tissues. I may be applying too much but they just like to stick to everything. I cannot put put one on and then layer the other confidently until a couple hours have passed. Just a note for those outside of instagram looking for your daily lipstick. Overall: For 12 bucks with shipping and everything, a great buy for three colors. They are cool toned but not unusable for those who identify as neutral leaning towards cool tone. I am not attaching photos since the photos from other reviews show the best skin tones to compliment the color. ... show more

Its definitely a strong lipstick, I don't know how healthy it is but the visually on the lips it is amazing. I have my own method of applying it, because applying this matte colours on my lips is a bit ugly. I would say, if you have a bit dry lips like me, first apply a similar colour lipstick, any lipstick that you use daily, lets say MAC. I apply quite a lot of MAC lip liner, not only to contour but also to fill inside with it (any brown or dark pink colour) then MAC lipstick (Velvet Teddy or something similar to this) and then I use this Mate lipstick 513 (the middle one). I know it sounds like lots of work but actually it only takes 3 minutes and your lips look like Kylie Jenners' and its lasts for hours and hours and you only need to carry the 513 with you to apply over your lips if your lip colour disappear later. ... show more
