I am an aircraft mechanic Just over 4 and a 1/2 years ago I put polyurethane Casters on my tool Box and absolutely Loved them. The wheels would not pick up materials on the floor as rubber wheels will And then you end up with the clunk clunk clunk clunk As the wheel turns , once in a Blue Moon One of those wheels might skid if they hit a little something but they would never pick anything up. I got a new tool Box a few weeks ago and wanted to upgrade the casters to polyurethane so I bought The are the are the subject of the Review. I'm not very happy with These Casters, even though They are polyurethane or at least are supposed to be, they are noisy and within a matter of a couple hours of Using my new tool Box, One of the wheels hit a little something and skidded Maybe 2 to 4"...4" tops.... And now there is a flat spot on that wheel and it clunks.... This never happened once with The polyurethane wheels on my previous tool Box, Those original casters still roll great and have no flat spots whatsoever even though with years they hit many things and skidded... Those casters were at the fraction of this price so when I bought these I thought if anything they should be even better than The smaller ones on my older tool Box, I was mistaken common not very happy with these at all That 1 clunks terribly and the swivel casters make a lot of noise as I am pushing my Box ... show more

    • Smooth rolling until one locks up

When they're working right they roll real smooth. Problem is, one of the wheeles that rotates for turning gets jammed up constantly making it almost impossible to turn the box they're attached to. Or to stop it from turning sometimes when the wheel will lock up mid turn. The only way to break the wheel free is to hit it with something substantial. ... show more

The wheels are very strong and move easily to roll around a very heavy cabinet (about 900 lbs). It comes with 16 bolts that are self tapping, 16 carriage bolts, 16 washers and 16 nuts. The reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is one of the carriage bolts was missing (only 15 in the package). So I had to buy one. Otherwise these wheels would have gotten 5 stars. The do have a grease zerk on the casters that rotate as well which is very nice. ... show more

have a greenlee 48x72x30 flat top storage box mod# 4872/07487. this is a heavy box 350lbs empty maybe 1000lbs or more loaded. the 6"wheels were a lot more money. if you had uneven surfaces i would go with the 6" . I move it by hand on fairly smooth concrete about 40ft back and forth, about 20 times so far, the wheels feel solid and the pivot turns smoothly. the bolts supplied worked fine. I used a smaller o.d. washer on the pivot brackets, the ones supplied looked like they would hit the pivot. the greenlee box has tapped holes on the bottom and like I said the bolts worked fine ... show more

We used these casters on the bottom of a table built to be a workshop table for my husband to use in the garage. They fit perfectly and work awesome. They roll with ease. Great product- highly recommend!

Awesome alternative to the oem casters. Equivalent to or better alternative, also comes with nut and machine bolts. Plus the price is very reasonable too, well worth the money.
