I purchased this set to give as individual gifts to teachers. Every one is different and fun to do. I am organized and can complete one in about 2 1/2 hours. Coverage is more than 95% and these last best if a sealer is used, but since they are acrylic with a cork stick on base, can be used without sealing, it is just that over time beads will come off and the sticky areas that are unsealed will accumulate dust and dirt. If you are buying this as a set, there are 2 Coaster holders, one black metal and one acrylic. For beginners, each coaster uses a wide variety of beads. You might want to consider a style that is more repetitive in colors. I purchased 2” x 2” resealable bags to keep my remaining beads safe, I place the number cut from the bag inside of the resealable to keep track of numbers. ... show more
