I actually really like this case. The kickstand and the lens cover are well designed and handy, and the S-Pen holder is a better design than others. It's a little bulky, but that's what's needed for such an expensive phone. Unfortunately the front cover broke after just a few months; surprising as I am really very gentle with my phone. It's a little too expensive to have to replace after such a short time, and that's a little frustrating. I have reached out to Tongate to see about getting a replacement front cover. If their response is positive I will add stars and update this review, because, as mentioned, I really like the case. Update - Now upgraded from 2 to 5 stars. I reached out to Tongate via WhatsApp to report the breakage. They were quick to respond, were friendly and polite, and immediately sent a replacement case. THAT's what I call customer service. Finally, a case for the Fold 5 with everything I want! First off, the fit is perfect. I've tried 4 or 5 cases and nothing comes close to this one. The fit is perfect, and when the hinge protector moves back when folding it, it doesn't shift the screen protector. That alone is amazing. Next, it has the sliding camera cover, this should be standard from now on. It also has a slot for your S pen. Lastly, it has the pop out on the back, but can still wirelessly charge. The case is rugged but light weight. I think they could sacrifice adding some weight for extra durability. It's ridiculously light, but one of the few things that could be improved. It doesn't look too tough, so I'd still be careful with it,but it does look like it will give moderate protection. I love the look of it. Visually it looks great, functionally it performs, and one lastthing that not all case makers think of.... It actually lays flat on the back. I'm not sure how thats missed so often, but it is. I want my case to lay flat so it doesn't wobble when I tap on it, sitting on a flat surface. My only other suggestion is to do like other cases and offer a front cover without the screen protector. I'm not a fan of screen protectors, and it's annoying having to pop it out myself, then sand the edges to make sure it doesn't scratch my phone. Not many case makers offer that, but it's a small gesture that really improves the customizability. All in all, this is an amazing case that finally has everything I want in a case. I seriously thought I'd have to make my own if I wanted all of this. One of the few things that need to be fixed, the charging port was too small for me to put in my charger. For the price it's a solid product. Good packaging, no damage, arrived on time. It's refreshing to read the accompanying documentation in adult English. At least you know the company is smart enough to think spending a $1000 to have a tiny Operating Manual translated from Chinese Engleesh to International English is good PR. However, the instructions lack a few important steps for 1st timers or mechanically challenged folks: it doesn't say anything about the cleaning/wiping step and goes right to putting it together. The quality of the protective screen is disappointing. It doesn't have an adhesive film applied to the surface. Consequently it remains as a separate 2nd layer with air in between. This causes slight warping of the plastic screen which is annoying but hasn't degraded the screen quality to the point that I'd like to return it (not yet anyways). I assume temperature fluctuations can make the warping worse. I for one would have preferred to pay $5-10 more to have them use Gorilla glass. In my book that would raise it to 5 stars. Originally I had wished they had designed the stand in such a way that it could be used as a ring to slip your finger through it for a better hold. It turns out even though not designed for that purpose I can still slip my finger through the stand mechanism when extended. A little bit of basic engineering could make that stand a perfect rotating ring without removing any of the other features of the case. I purchased the Samsung pen separately and incorrectly blamed the case for not working with it in the single screen mode. It turns out Samsung is to blame for that shortcoming (you need the pen for the smaller screen more so than the larger one, go figure). It works just as expected on the double screen. Unfortunately had to reduce it by 1 star from a 3 to 2 for the following reasons: I use the Grammerly keyboard a lot and in the closed and vertical position the keys of the keyboard next to the left edge are almost impossible to type unless you use the tip of your finger in a perpendicular position. The alternative is to have the screen in a horizontal position or use it un-folded. In fairness I have no idea whether this is an issue with most robust cases that have a raised rim for screen protection. For my purposes it just creates an issue that I didn't expect and reduces my options in terms of how I'd like to position the screen when typing. The alternative is to use the Samsung keyboard which is less of a problem in that regard. Can't blame the case for that either, it's a third party problem. I had some perceived issues that I originally blamed on the case (Samsung pen, keyboard on single screen). The customer service team literally got back to me within a day or 2. They even went as far as contacting Samsung about the pen problem. I consider that outstanding service which deserves recognition. I had originally had lowered my rating to 2 stars but after I found out about my false assumptions and the outstanding customer service I'm raising it to 4. The only thing I can think of that would make this the ultimate case for me (apart from the Gorilla glass) is a magnet in the back for attaching it in the car. I don't know whether that's technically possible without interfering with the wireless charger. If these changes could be added then this case would certainly deserve a 6 star! ... show more

This is a expensive phone and needs as much protection as possible. The phone cover itself is good the pen holder is nice. Lens cover keeps your photos undistorted by ffingerprints and scratches. The case seems to be fairly shock resistant (I've dropped it a few times). The kickstand is a nice addition. But the latch that holds the phone in place is weak. I have returned the 1st case for a broken latch. Now the replacement broke in the same place. It broke 2 days after the return window closed. I need a case I can depend on. This is not it! I would really like for them to take this case back so I can purchase something that will last mor than a few weeks. ... show more
