As others have said, this game will be a great stocking stuffer. It's simple, but fun and will be something to occupy your kiddo. A couple of things for those of us who don't read instructions (yes, they are included, but . . . well, how hard can it be?). Anyway, this takes three AAA batteries - not included. And, the battery cover will need a philips head screwdriver. When your game comes, all the pop-up buttons are sunk in and the game looks broken. You can turn it on and it tells you the level and what to do, but nothing happens. To get the buttons to pop up, push the entire unit down (if it's on a table), or reach behind and depress the battery box (if you're holding the game in your hand). There are three buttons at the top. The first is the game level. It starts on 1 and each push will increase the level. The second button is the on/off. This button is sensitive, so if you place the game face down, you will probably turn it on. The third button is the volume button - this actually works very well and each push will lower the volume. This game is a good size, is easy to learn/use and I think most people, regardless of age, will play it longer than they think. Sound, lights, music - plus pushing buttons - it works!!! ... show more

I have been seeing this pop it game all over and it looked fun and I knew my daughter would like it. So I got it as a Christmas present for her. But what I can say right now, is that it looked fun so I wanted to put some batteries in it and “check it” out for my daughter before Christmas. And man oh man. She doesn’t even know it exists yet and I’ve been sneaking this game and playing it in the night. I know this is meant to be a kids game but I am really enjoying it. It’s really addicting and a lot of fun. I will probably steal it from my daughter a lot and play it. So needless to say, this is fun for adults and I think it would be fun for kids too. It’s screen free too which is a plus. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the volume button picture was already a little scratched off when I opened the box. It’s not enough to bother me to send it back, but I feel like that is an indicator that over time of pressing the buttons the pictures will all eventually rub off ... show more

This a really fun game! It does come with instructions, which is really nice, but the different game modes are really easy to pick up if you end up losing the instructions. Takes 3 AAA batteries, which aren't included. I like that you can adjust the volume level of the game, from silent to loud. The quiet level is actually quiet, and the loud setting, while LOUD isn't going to blow your eardrums out. The battery compartment is a little hard to get open and closed. You also have to hold down the mode button to switch between games, and it took me a while to figure that out, and that is not mentioned in the instructions at all. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Okay, I love this thing! Yes I’m an adult, but this is really bringing back that retro memory game vibe mixed with fidget toy energy! The sound has levels, including the ability to silence it but just a reminder, this toy will still make noise so if you plan on getting it for your kids I would not recommend it as a toy to give them in quiet places. I wouldn’t even recommend this for places like airplanes or anywhere it might bother others because even the pressing action causes a popping sound and pushing the back in also makes a noise that could irritate others when done repeatedly. This is a cute little toy. I ordered it for my 7 year old granddaughter. It requires 3 AAA batteries. While this push game is simple enough in design for toddlers, there are different game modes that even adults might enjoy it. Also, on the box there is a pictured ribbon like lanyard for portability. This lanyard was either not included or just not in my box. It wasn't clear if it was supposed to be included.
