Overall a wonderful product! Here are the pros/cons: Pros: 1.) Easy to assemble. The instructions were that not great however. BUT if you just watch the short 1 min vid on the amazon page, you'll understand. Once you know which way the different knobs need to be facing, its intuitive after that. 2.) Can contort to pretty much any shape you want. I decided to go with the 2x6. After building this, I still had extras - 1 wall, 4 knobs and 6 legs. 3.) It's lightweight so super easy to move for anyone(felt like maybe 5 lbs at most?). 4.) It looks great! Really makes my room look fancier. I like the 2x6 look cuz the top shelves are at my eye level. It's saves me a ton of space too. Cons: 1.) Not really anything bad. Only minor one is that it isn't sturdiest (not like it's advertising to be). So if you plan on putting light figurines or things that can easily tip over, a little bump on the shelf or stomping your feet too hard could knock them over. I suggest not putting light or glass figurines on there that can easily tip over and definitely not on the edge of the shelf. Also recommend having your heaviest things on the bottom to help give the structure more support. Final Thoughts: If you want a nice display shelf or something for your clothes, this is def a great product! I actually just bought a send 12 pack and set it up already for my clothes! We bought our first 12-cube shelfs for displaying/storing my son's Godzilla and other toy collections in his room. After seeing how great the product is, we bought a second set with some of the cloth storage cube bins for his Legos! Looks amazing against his walls and saved space as the old containers for these items took up so much more space. Assembly was a breeze and being able to define our own overall shape of the shelf system was the deciding factor! The plastic clips that hold the panels in place have a tight fit, which adds to the stability of the shelf system. You must make sure you are properly seating the clips and panels together for everything to work as intended, still I wouldn't expect this to hold any substantial weight just lightweight items. TomCare provides a small wooden hammer tool with the kit. Our hammer broke on the first set within about 6 cubes being assembled with very light tapping, just enough to slightly move the clips with each tap. Luckily, I had a small rubber mallet and was able to finish securing the remaining clips. On our second set we ordered, the wooden hammer held up better as compared to the first set we built. Overall, we will most likely buy a couple more sets for my daughters room and after seeing some of the reviews from other reviewers and their use cases, might get a couple for me for storing cables and other parts and accessories. ... show more

Bought this to organize my board games and for the most part it has worked. There are some games I have that don't quite fit in this. It is quite sturdy and has been able to hold the weight of all our games over the last year or so. It was pretty easy to put together on my own, but I have noticed that I do need to reattach some parts every now and again. Now this is because my cats like to use it as a perch as well. Second time I bought these shelves. I can’t afford real wooden cubbies. Have bought “wood cubbies” (you know m, the manufacturer stuff) that are not worth the price although they look better. But these are great. Not too hard to put together, (a pain, but so were the other kinds I bought) reconfigurable and can be taken apart to store or move which is great. I wouldn’t load them down to the max with textbooks or anything like that. It’s not that they can’t take the weight, but text books will slump and the sideways pressure sometime pops one of the panels or if it’s clip. Easy to pop back in but annoying. I bought this for an apartment as I knew I wouldn't live in it for the long term and wanted something that could be easily put together and taken down. Putting this together was easy, but you must ensure everything clicks in properly, not partially. Mallet wasn't necessary as you can physically push the walls into the provided clips which will click. I set the storage organizer next to a wall and used it for my books, cups, blanket, and so forth. It has been nice just to do some dusting and be done with it, but if there were a stubborn stain I would just use one of my wet wipes to scrub it off. This works for the two years of living in an apartment. What I like best about this storage is that it can be customizable. It's also great as a temporary storage for my apartment. I finally moved to a more permanent housing and had to take this down. Since I set it up as a single unit taking it down was a bit harder than I thought. One of which was being worried I might bend the wall and break the clips. The product page for this said that each cube can hold up to 15 lbs, which it did, but I do find if you are partial about the plastic wall not stretching then do not store heavy objects like books, ceramic eating utensils, and even some shoes like boots. The plastic bottom holding those items did stretch, so maybe don't leave similar items above in the cube for long and switch them to another cube often. The cube where I stored my clothes, figurines, and stuffed dolls was just almost as good as new. ... show more
