    • Great Colors with a Less Than Ideal Case

I use this product for coloring in adult coloring books. I find I have a lot of floral coloring books, so when I got a gift card, I splurged on this set. I dislike that it seems like these 20-packs are always priced higher per piece than the 10-packs. It seems like the 20-packs only ever get as low as low $33.99, but the 10-packs can go below $12, so that is not equal. The colors are very nice. I swatched them out on printer paper, and it is a very pleasing set of colors. I was confused at some of the colors being included in a floral palette, but maybe I'm just not thinking clearly. There are more blues than I would have put in it. There are I think 4 greens, one being a very very light yellow green. Maybe it would have been nice if there were more than 4 greens or if they substituted the light one. Of course you need green for the leaves and stems. Oh yes, the case! It is similar to the cases of the 10-packs, but it has two layers, which can make it kind of unwieldy and frustrating at times. They are just stacked in there with just one small mini partial plastic tray to divide them. It can be hard to get a pen out from the bottom layer without disrupting the pens from the top layer. As for Tombow Dual Brush Pens in general, I am very happy with them overall. The colors are nice; they are broken down into smaller matching/themed sets; they seem to be quality and are fun to use. You get double the number of brush markers in this set, and it’s worth it. The colors are vivid and gorgeous, and they dilute well with water if you like to work with them like watercolors. You seriously can’t go wrong with these.

I bought this set for my daughter and she is obsessed. She mainly uses them for calligraphy although they could be used for different tasks. They are quite easy to control and are very durable (the tips don't become dull easily). The color range is super cute!
