These dual brush pens have a versatile and flexible nylon fiber brush tip on 1 end that creates medium or bold strokes by simply changing brush pressure. The fine tip on the other end is for smooth straight lines or writing. The resilient nylon brush retains its point, stroke after stroke. The ink is water-based and blendable: use 2 colors together, or use the colorless blender pen. The pen tips self-clean after blending so there is no messy clean-up! Use these pens for coloring, rubber stamping, hand-lettering, doodling, journaling, and more. Perfect for fine art techniques. The ink is acid-free, non-toxic, odorless, and non-bleeding. Each package contains 10 pens (9 colored, 1 colorless). Available in a variety of color schemes, each sold separately. Conforms to ASTM D 4236.

  • Fun Markers in Good Matching Colors
Size: 10-Pack Color: Muted
I use this product for coloring in adult coloring books for fun. I like that all the colors in the pack look good together. This makes it easier to pick colors for a coloring page. I can just say, "I'll use the Muted pack" and then just pick colors from the pack without having to spend a lot of time finding colors that look good with each other. These are nice markers that are fun to use. I think the color scheme has a sort of old-time or antique kind of vibe. Good pack of markers. ... show more

  • Great alternative to more expensive art markers
Size: 10-Pack Color: Muted
These markers are an excellent alternative to the also excellent but ridiculously expensive Copic markers. I couldn't afford those and I am a huge fan of Tombow's pencils and Mono erasers, so I decided to give these a try and I'm awfully glad I did. As the name implies, they have two separate tips, one a tapered felt brush-shaped tip for thin-to-thick brush strokes, and a smaller bullet-shaped tip for finer lines and detail. I've bought three sets now, the landscape set, the greyscale set and the primary color set and I will probably keep expanding until I have a fuller color range. In fact, I should've gone ahead and bought the 96-color set, but I was hesitant to make that big of a commitment without trying them first. They apply color evenly, getting darker if you layer brushstrokes on top of each other and each set comes with a colorless blender, which allows for smoother blending or lightening of colors. The colored ones are pretty saturated and even the light colors come out a bit more intense than you may expect. To get lighter tones, I've learned a good tip: Take an old CD and brush out a few strokes of color on it, then pick up a bit of the color with the colorless blender and apply to your work surface. I recently completed the Inktober challenge with these bad boys, in which I did a different finished ink drawing every day for the entire month of October and the greyscale set of these markers was invaluable in quickly adding depth and shading to those finished ink pieces (see photo). I was surprised at how long the markers lasted before running dry and by how durable the brush tips were, especially considering that I was often using fairly rough-textured watercolor paper much of the time. For best results, I recommend using these with a smooth bristol board or hot press watercolor paper ... show more

  • Doubles
Size: 10-Pack Color: Muted
I love these markers. They are a quality product.. A ton of fun and can be used for various art mediums making them pretty versatile. That said, I find it obnoxious that when buying different color theme sets you can end up with 3 or 4 of the same color because it's included in each set. You are way better off dropping the nearly $300 and buy the full set. I've wasted a lot of money trying to buy sets or individual markers that included colors I don't already have. ... show more
