These dual brush pens have a versatile and flexible nylon fiber brush tip on 1 end that creates medium or bold strokes by simply changing brush pressure. The fine tip on the other end is for smooth straight lines or writing. The resilient nylon brush retains its point, stroke after stroke. The ink is water-based and blendable: use 2 colors together, or use the colorless blender pen. The pen tips self-clean after blending so there is no messy clean-up! Use these pens for coloring, rubber stamping, hand-lettering, doodling, journaling, and more. Perfect for fine art techniques. The ink is acid-free, non-toxic, odorless, and non-bleeding. Each package contains 10 pens (9 colored, 1 colorless). Available in a variety of color schemes, each sold separately. Conforms to ASTM D 4236.

  • Very good value
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
I would 100% recommend these. I picked up two gray tone markers along with some muted primaries at Michael's a few months ago to add some depth to my sketches. I liked them a lot, so I purchased the Portrait pack, Landscape pack, and the Secondary pack two weeks ago and have been using them since. I use these mainly for sketching, as you can layer the opacity very nicely. With that being said, as any marker, there is only so much give to sketchbook paper before it starts to chew through it, but that does not bother me too much as I mainly use these for ideas of where i want colors/tones/shadows etc placed. (I would recommend bristol paper, or a hot-press watercolor paper for final pieces. I use mostly a mix media sketchbook and it works well enough.) The variety of colors is what drew me to them mostly; although I do wish there were more pastel skin tones available, with different undertones. As of now they are mostly pink based. (Again, you can only get away with layering them so much before the paper gives out.) The spectrum ranges from pastel, to highly opaque colors and they are extremely blendable being water based, so you can get away with purchasing a few, and mixing your own colors. Application is very smooth as well. The brush tip makes it very easy to get soft lines and fill in large areas, while the fine tip is good for placing color in specific areas etc. As well, you can put some of the ink on a plastic sheet, and you can pick it up on a brush/water brush and you can get beautiful washes of color. (Will not dry nearly as fast as anything alcohol based.) Pros: -Easy to work with -Variety of color -Portable Cons: -Lacking different undertones of color (Although as stated, you are able to mix colors. I am just lazy.) -Some darker colors don't layer as well -Brush nib is very soft and after awhile it will start to have a little more give, so you will have to be more careful when you are placing specific color. I would not compare them to Prisma or Copic markers performance wise as they are alcohol based, but the price point of Tombow's is obviously much better, and water-based markers are MUCH more forgiving than alcohol based markers. (Just as watercolor paint is easier to work with than say acrylic in my opinion.) I have used Arteza markers as well, and I prefer the Tombow. If you are looking for quality art supplies that won't break the bank, offers a wide variety of color and easy to work with, definitely give these a try! ... show more

  • Wonderful Pens
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
I like how the dual tip brush pens make me feel like I am a part of something very cool - the Tombow community. They are very nice. I like that all the pens come numbered. This set is a few blues and a few grays/blacks, one very very light yellow-green and a lavender, and maybe also some more greens. The lavender is probably the prettiest color in the set in my opinion. I like the fine tip end, and both ends are very fun to use. Wonderful, high-quality product. The pens are also pretty long. ... show more

  • Changing color palettes
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
TomBow is slightly changing the marker lineup they're putting in their specialized assortments. The Landscape assortment I received now has a colorless blender in place of the darker brown marker, leaving the "landscape" palette without a brown, which seems like an odd choice. Overall, they're good quality markers, but it's frustrating that they're changing their colors but they're not updating their product information. ... show more

  • This landscape set gets me started on my Fall tree visions--in a beautiful and economical way!
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
For those of us who get a bit overwhelmed when choosing from a huge assortment of whatever, this is a fabulous grouping of colors. The blues, the greens, the browns! All that are in this set of ten are such worthy colors. Have you ever gone to the TombowUSA website and browsed through all 90+ colors in this line? Yeah, well, I have done that, and I wanted them all.....No can do! This set brings me back down to earth--in a beautiful and economical way. And the set contains a blender (N00) too. All I need now is to augment with some yellows, oranges, reds, and a few more greens. And, wouldn't it be grand if Tombow made up a "Sunset" set? I love Tombow products. They have never, ever disappointed. The brush heads on these pens are wonderful to work with. They react to pressure and the angle with great precision. Just playing around with them is a pleasant joyful experience. Pigment in each color is superb, too. Can't go wrong with anything Tombow. ... show more

  • These are long lasting for journaling.
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
The colors are vibrant and last a very long time. I love the brush and fine tip options for drawing and writing. This set's colors have been my favorite set. The blues/greens etc are so pretty together. Love them.

  • Received different landscape pen set
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
Perfect water-color markers as usual. I like Tombow's brush pens, because they're great for all kinds of purposes. Bullet nib for solid lines, brush tip for calligraphy and coloring. They lay down color great and will last you a long time even if you don't use them frequently. With that said, the set I received holds different colors that is shown on Amazon. The product page shows earthy tones, as well as some greens and blues. However, the pack I received has mostly yellow-ish green to darker green tints, a couple blues, and a single lavender/lilac shade. I confirmed on Tombow's website that I received the right Landscape Palette, but I wonder why Amazon shows a completely different palette on their website. ... show more

  • Beautiful Colours
Size: 10-Pack Color: Landscape
I am fairly new to bullet journaling and had previously used a very minimalist style, but wanted to branch out for my new 2021 journal. I was most excited to have duel pen tips, and am enjoying the variety of use so far. I picked this set because of the colours, but was weary due to some previous reviews stating that they did not receive pens the same colours as shown in the preview pictures. Thankfully I got the right colours with my order! ... show more
