This Tomat case is a pretty decent, camera-specific case for your Insta360s. The exterior shell is sturdy and rugged. The interior is a dense foam material with egg crate foam in the lid. The top tray lifts out to reveal more cutout space. There's plenty of space to stow your cameras and accessories. To me it does feel like it treads closer to thicker Plano boxes than it does to Pelican/Nanuk cases though. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why, but I think it's just the feel of the exterior plastic. I have several hardshell cases for everything from my Insta360 x3, to DJI drone and this measures up to them all. I especially appreciate the high density foam and the crisp, clean laser cutouts. As you can see in the attached photo (and the listing), the top rack has a red hard foam liner that provides nice visual contrast for all the items stowed. It's not only a nice case with strong latches and reinforced holes to place a small padlock, but there is more room in the bottom section than initially catches the eye. I love it as much as I do having all my stuff in one spot. There's nothing worse than arriving on a shoot to find a critical piece of equipment missing. Make that mistake one time and you will more than pay for this case, and the benefit of decent protection should you drop it, is well...worth a lot! ... show more

If you care about your expensive equipment and travel a lot then I recommend this case. It fits all your equipment perfectly and has a lot of slots for every one of them. The case it self is super durable and it has two layers that's easily removable when trying to access your different pieces of gear. It has two sturdy latches with a locking hole to add your own TSA approved lock to keep it even more secure. With the thick inner lining and the sturdy plastic, I trust that this case can easily protect my Insta360 X2 from an accidently tumble. Pretty sure it can even protect it if some one was to toss it across a room (try at your own risk). Overall highly recommend if you own a insta360 X2/3/4 with all the original accessories and you want to protect it all in a highly convenient and secure hard case! ... show more

I love how sturdy this case is, and it has lots or room for accessories. It works for me because I have a basic set-up. I use a GoPro, but it works just fine for me. Although some of the cutouts are meant for Insta360. I basically reappropriated the cutouts to work for me, so the fits are not all perfect. This replaces the softer cases that came with my GoPro, and the handle makes it easier to take around. ... show more

Well made. Seems sturdy. Two level compartments use a real firm foam (not squishy). It has a few slots that hold specific items (charging hub, batteries, small selfie stick, etc.) but the camera slot will NOT hold the camera with the lens protector on. (All cases should do that; camera should always have the cap on when not actively filming.) IF this fits what you need it to fit, it's a great option. For me, it won't hold my favorite selfie stick (the one with the built in tripod) and it won't hold the camera with the lens protectors and rubber lens cap on. I use it for storing accessories I take on trips, while the main items travel in a much smaller bag I carry with me. ... show more
