This arm isn't quite like it is advertised. It states the tension is adjustable, but only in the sense that you either tighten it so it holds things or it doesn't. The joints themselves don't appear too sturdy and are basically friction it, meaning they will wear out and it doesn't seem like it will take too much. The top part would benefit from a ball joint. There is no real rotation so positioning a mic that doesn't rotate in it's mount, meaning you have limited angles to position the microphone from. The arm, when put straight out, droops over time. A thing it does well is fold up to a small footprint. It could easily hide behind a monitor. With the limited range of positions, it seems like it would be better suited coming from the side or directly in front. The clamp itself also seems pretty decent.
