Many of them do not slide well under the table. My granddaughter is short but it slides under the table well so she is close enough to the table for it to work. She will probably use this for years. And has enough of a bumper to keep her from leaning over so she doesn't fall out

Booster seat works great. It is perfect for my two year old. It has both bottom and back straps which tighten very well to secure the booster seat to our dinning room chair.
