After using multiple types of bands for the Ultra, I was reluctant to get a metal one. Mostly due to the aesthetics of most metal bands on this watch. It’s a bulky watch so I was picky about the width. Glad I found this one. It was the widest metal band I could find and it complements the watch perfectly. Color match is slightly darker than the watch itself but barely noticeable. Hinges slide on and off smoothly with no wiggle; it’s solid. The links use traditional metal band pins, not the spring loaded ones that can come off with jarring movements. The half sized links also help fine tune the fit, which can be a tedious process depending on how many links need to be removed. The included linkage tool definitely helps make it easier. This truly looks and feels like it can be used for outdoor activities with no issues, except maybe for minor scratches. I’m impressed with the quality of the band and how it looks on the timepiece. this is the best watch band I have found. I hate the rubber ones and I hate all the others because they are too tight and the watch is not able to move a little bit. This feels like my other high end watches. Comes with everything to set the fitment just right. Matched the watch color perfectly. When installing you do have to put both sides on at the same time and move them in simultaneously because the bad does not flex like a rubber or cloth one. ... show more

The watch band itself is awesome! Lightweight, doesn't pinch my arm hair, hasn't scratched or tarnished at all. The only slight downside is that the color of the metal is a shade lighter than the color of the watch face itself. I’ve wanted a metal watch band for my Ultra ever since I got it, and this one was the right price for the quality I wanted. It’s lightweight, seems scratch resistant so far (going on day 3 of daily wear but I work in an office and am generally careful with my tech), and the process of removing links was no different than similar watch bands. I like the width of the band in comparison to my wrist (6.5”) and the clasp is nice. It does have a slight overhang but so far hasn’t been a problem. Removing it is a challenge but that’s no fault of the manufacturer; it’s physics. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the quality and especially the price. Well worth it! ... show more

I just received this in the mail today. It's well packaged and easy to open. The color and style is a perfect match and looks great. The weight is light but heavy enough that it feels solid if that makes sense. The Max 49mm band is really large, I'm 6'3 300" lbs, and I had to remove two large and one small links for a nice fit. There are still plenty of removable links for those with smaller wrist. The enclosed tool makes this process very simple and I'm grateful it was included. The closing clasp is well constructed and with the need to depress a squeeze on the clasp with a finger and thumb to open I am not worried about it mistakenly opening on it's own. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how perfect this band is considering the price point is far less than other bands I was considering if I didn't like this one. ... show more
