There is nothing wrong with enjoying expensive watches. I just don't like expensive watches. I also don't wear gold chains and heavy colognes. That's just not me. When I retire, I will have roughly $3M and no Rolex. This affordable Tissot is all I want for casual wear. The watch is simple, low-key, automatic, and good-looking. The watch says that I appreciate horology. This is a perfect, respectful Swiss watch I can wear until I die. I find it condescending to call this an "entry-level" watch. That attitude makes me avoid expensive watches. Even if I were super rich, I would never become THAT guy who wears expensive watches (Bill Gates wears a $50 watch). Again, there is nothing wrong with enjoying expensive watches. It's just not me. I need a few straps - then it can go with most of my casual clothes. Because the face is white, I can use straps of all colors. I own a few smaller watches for formal settings. And for those who claim they cannot find this watch on the website? That statement doesn't make sense to me. I can't find Seiko SARB035 on the Seiko website. That doesn't mean my watch is fake. If I cannot find Chrysler New Yorker on the Chrysler website, that doesn't mean the New Yorker never existed. I like this cute Tissot. It fits my lifestyle. Most of all, the watch describes who I am. A gold Rolex doesn't describe who I am. ... show more

    • Nice and elegant, and surprisingly affordable
This has been a very nice watch so far. It keeps excellent time, and has a terrific power reserve. I take it off after work on Friday and it's good to go Monday morning. The band is sturdy and comfortable too.

I just received it today, and feel in love. It's a beautiful watch in its simplicity. As of now, it's one of the best entry level Autos in my opinion. The band is very comfortable.

    • If you wonder about the authenticity…
It is authentic. I was able to register the serial number on the Tissot website. Pros: it is a good looking watch that arrived with all the original packaging. The accuracy is very good for a mechanical watch. It runs great, as long as you’re wearing it, more on that later. Cons: the instructions are written in every known language, so the space reserved for a language you may read, is next to useless. There are no instructions online for the “Everytime Desire”. The “Everytime” is already Tissot’s least expensive model. What corners were cut to produce the “Everytime Desire” I don’t know. The only thing I can point to is the reserve power is pretty bad on this watch. You can wear it all day, use the manual wind feature before you go to bed, and it will still run out of juice before you wake up the next morning. ... show more

Great value for the money. This is not a Rolex so get a grip on your expectations, but for an inexpensive automatic it hits all the needs. This is my second 1863 Tissot. The 1st one took a good beating but didn't like being dropped on my garage cement floor. (2x) These watches cost less to buy new then repair so just keep that in mind as is all inexpensive autos are. I was very happy with this watch initially, it was accurate to four seconds a day, But the accuracy began to degrade until just before it died it was fifteen seconds day. The watch survived my lethargic,sedentary, retired life for two days short of five months from the date it was ordered. The item was delivered overnight, it’s the perfect size and sits well on my wrist. I’m 6’1 200lbs and I have 3 notches to spare. The watch is elegant and can go with any attire. The face is simple, easy to read and the butterfly clasp makes it convenient to put on. I highly recommend.
