  • Awesome field watch.
I got this one when it was on sale, $157. That was a steal for a Tissot watch. It has quartz movement, not mechanical so the weight is very light for the size of the watch. You can hardly notice that you are wearing it. The numbers are quite big and easy to read for us older gentlemen and the olive drab background really adds a nice touch to the watch. It comes with a saphire crystal that shoud be very difficult to scratch or shatter, another plus to this entry level swiss made watch. I think it makes an excellent piece to any watch collection and is a great every day watch to wear. Only thing that would make it better is a longer strap for people with big wrists. ... show more

  • Quality watch, a real steal when on sale.
I've had my eye on a Tissot for a number of years. This entry level watch was a lucky find on sale. For those not sure, it is a Swiss quartz movement running on a battery; it is not an automatic. This does not mean it is not a great watch; it certainly is a nice watch. My job takes a real beating out on my watches, I've messed up several. The sapphire crystal matters a great deal over a mineral or acrylic crystal, as both of those tend to scratch quickly and easily; I have a number of Citizen watches that I love but the crystals do not hold up. I tried also to buy an inexpensive beefy timex watch for work, but it didn't last two weeks on the job. I also have a Filson Shinola Scout which held up the best with its sapphire crystal but it ended up having some manufacturer defect and has been sent back to Shinola twice. So, now I have this watch which cost less than half what the Shinola Scout cost, and I sure hope it holds up. I think it will. Some other things I really like about it: It is easy to set up, it looks fantastic, the watch band pins are extremely tight so if you catch the watch on something, it probably won't come loose, the second moves nicely, the night visibility is decent. Some stuff I was less excited about: the watch strap itself is very stiff. Easy fix with a nato strap. The date visibility is sometimes difficult to see. Not a big deal though. And my main real gripe is that the crown is NOT a screw down, it is a pull-out, push-in. I am not picky; it presents a legit problem. What happens with the crown is that, because it does not actually screw down and stay, if it rubs again something or catches on something, the crown gets pulled out and the watch stops, and sometimes the crown ends up accidentally winding around while loose and changes the time and then stops. Most of us carry our phone with us, so you can just reset the time, push the crown back in. However, that may not work for everyone. Nonethless, I do like the watch, and I would purchase it again even if I knew about this design issue. ... show more

  • Husband loved this gift!
My husband and I love this brand. It’s quality and I purchased during a Prime special so the cost didn’t break the bank. Definitely worth the money. He wears this one when outdoors and on the boat since it’s water resistant and the band is light weight and easy to adjust. The size of the watch is easy for him to read and it’s easy to fasten. Would definitely, purchase other colors, if available. His is army green and blends perfect for outdoor use. ... show more

  • Very fine watch
Bucket list item. One Swiss watch. Check. It is a tad heavy for the cloth band, but not terrible. The band is a little stiff new out of the box, but I am sure it will loosen up. The first band loop is also very close to the clasp making it slightly tough to close the stiffer band. All minor issues which I am sure will sort themselves out. Luminosity is excellent right out of the box. Very easy to read for older eyes. And the box it comes in is as fancy as the watch. Very classy. Now I just need to learn how to operate a chronograph. Overall, one happy camper here. ... show more

  • Everyday wear.
Tissot makes a real decent watch for the money. I purchased this for everyday wear. Keeps great time but if you have a large wrist you'll be shopping for a new band. Looks good and keeps good time. i figured that it cost me three tank of gas to buy it. I'll get much better mileage out of this than any car. ... show more

  • Pretty perfect field watch
Is easy to read the dial, wears well on the wrist and keeps accurate time.b Good lume. Strap is somewhat thick and stiff (that's what she said), but surprisingly comfortable.

  • Good value
This is a good looking watch from a quality Swiss manufacturer. Good price. Nice features with the design as a pilot style chronograph. However, the misses are a snap fit case back and only the minute and hour hands are lumed adequately. The other dial markers are poorly lumed.
