I needed a last minute costume for a Halloween party on Saturday. I wanted something comfortable and warm. I ordered this because it looked more fitting than the other onsie outfits. I tried it on today when it was delivered and I’m impressed. It’s well made. Zippers are good quality. Only 1 long zipper in the front, not 2 like others have written in their reviews. The pockets are zippered too. It’s soft and warm yet lightweight. Good fits great. It’s definitely more flattering than others I’ve seen. I just wish the black one had faster shipping as I would have preferred that color. I paired it with a pastel rainbow wig. I ordered a medium and I’m 5’7 130lbs. I've seen these costumes many times and finally decided to buy one during Prime Deal Days. While I'm mostly satisfied, I have to admit I'm a little let down. Had I paid full price, I would probably be returning it. Let me explain why. First off, I'm 6' with a muscular build, and I expected it might run a little short on me—and it did. For anyone taller, I recommend sizing up because the XL I bought wasn’t long enough. I usually wear a large in shirts but went with XL for extra length, which still didn’t quite do the trick. Second, as soon as I opened the package, I noticed what looked like pet hair all over the costume. It wasn't actually pet hair, but rather loose "fur" that had shed from the costume. That was disappointing, and combined with the glitter, it felt like a bit much. The amount of shedding made me question the quality—if that much fell off before even wearing it, how will it hold up over time? (Side note: If you look at the picture, the 'stuff' you see on the costume isn’t a dirty mirror—it’s all the loose fur that has come off and is now all over the costume.) I also expected a higher-quality fabric, considering how much these costumes usually cost. It’s definitely more of a thin, costume material—not the 'premium construction' described. The description claimed it was 'designed for the hardest of parties' with 'quality, durability, and softness in mind,' but I felt like I got basic costume quality instead of something closer to pajamas. All that said, it's still a fun costume. I’ll wear it for what I bought it for, and might even wear it around the house. Knowing what I know now, I’d consider buying another one if it’s on sale, but I’ll keep my expectations in check. ... show more

I looked at several options for unicorn onesies, and others looked like they were all the same fleece fabric with button closures. This was 2x the cost, but looked more unique and well built. Sure enough, it's a great product with thoughtful details (the clouds, the rainbow cuffs, the head-to-butt tail...)! The main zipper is a little odd in that it has two pulls, and one hangs right at your crotch all the time. I don't know why you'd ever open this up from the bottom, so it doesn't make sense for it to be there, but that's the only detail I would change. It is a little baggy (I bought a small and I'm 5'4" 135#), but fits well when sitting, which makes it cozy. Good looking design, but fit and quality issues make it a total waste of money. If you are ok wearing it one night and throwing it away then by all means get it... otherwise avoid. Quality issues: zipper broke within first hour of use. Zipper pull track just broke when trying to unzip the item. THis was fun to figure out how to fix in the bathroom stall at my company halloween party. Also the material on the front looks awful after just one night of use. I think it is called "piling" where you get little pills of material like on an old t-shirt. But it gets this pilling after one night of wear... so... not worth the money. Fit is way too small. I am 6ft 1 inch 180 lbs, so i ordered the large, but it fit my 5ft 3 inch girlfriend much better. For me, I could not wear shorts underneath the item, so it made the zipper issue a bit difficult because I was just in my underwear. I advise two sizes up. I would have given the item 5 stars if the price reflected it's throw-away quality. I think this item is worth $15 max. ... show more

I am average size 5' 10" and 205 (usually wear a 17 1/2, 34/35 slim cut dress shirt for comparison). The Large was Ok, but a little snug in the chest through mid-section. So unless you're very slim, go XL. Both the large and XL were a little long, so don't be concerned if your XL seems to have extra leg length (so anyone up 6'2" would probably be fine also) that was same on the Large that I also tried on. Plus if in cold climates, the XL offeres plenty of room for under garment insulation while not being too blousy at all. Has two pockets for hands and another two zippered pockets for cell phones, etc. Also very easy to unzip and goto the bathroom. This costume will last for years no doubt. And my daughter loved my matching her costume. ... show more
