This is a great, comfortable, and very unique Halloween costume! I paired it with some candy themed temporary tattoos on my face and my husband wore the matching “ I already hit that” t-shirt. Quality- The costume is well made. I did not have any problems with the zipper catching or coming off track, there were no loose strings hanging anywhere, and despite my concerns the fringe hanging off held up really well and did not catch or hang on anything. Overall the material is thick and good quality. You can see the layer of pink fabric under the fringe, but I don’t feel like that’s a problem or takes away from the costume in any way. Also, I took my kids trick or treating outdoors and did pick up a couple of stickers along the way, but really would expect that with anything that has fringe or fur. Fit- I am 5’5” and 140lbs. and talked myself out of going up a size because of the height guidelines. I was afraid the bigger size would be too long. In hindsight- I feel like the torso on this is short, it fits but is not something I would just want to lounge around in. If you prefer more wiggle room or are concerned the bigger one will be to long, I would recommend to go ahead and move up a size, I think that would have been more comfortable although this one did fit. ... show more

I am 5'5", 160lbs, curvy with a short torso (female). I originally ordered a large after reading other reviews and it was WAY too big. The crotch hung down too low & the legs were way too long. I exchanged it for the medium, which fit perfectly! The crotch was just right & the legs length fit correctly. It was still roomy enough for me to wear a t-shirt & leggings underneath. (I tried it on while wearing jeans & they fit too. It was just more comfortable with leggings) The only downside I found was that I got very warm in it quickly while inside. It is made of a thin sweatshirt type material & when I had it on over other clothes I found that I was just too warm. I did not try wearing it without other clothes underneath though - that might be better for wearing indoors. It would probably be perfect for outdoor trick or treating on a cool night. It came out of the package and looked great. I didn't have problems with it looking wrinkled. I was also happy with the quality of it. The zipper & stitching all seems very sturdy. I'll be able to wear it for years to come if needed. Oh! And it has pockets! They zip up too! Overall, it was a VERY CUTE & creative costume! I got a lot of compliments on it. I'm 5'4", 157lbs. & small fit just right. Any taller than this and you'd need to size up. I could still wear a tshirt and tights underneath. I'm sure medium would have been fine, also. I did get lots of compliments!

This piñata costume was a hit at every costume party. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. For reference: I wear a large/sz 12 and was able to comfortably fit into the M. I am 5’, 4”, 170lbs, curvy, 36 DD and I had plenty of room for a thin outfit under the costume. The construction was perfect, I was able to wash and store for my next event. This costume has been my primary ski outer layer for the past couple of ski seasons and never fails to draw attention which has a few key benefits: 1. Easy for your friends to find you 2. If you are doing something rad everyone sees it 3. If you totally biff something and need help you'll be easy to find It actually is shockingly warm as well - almost detrimentally so on a warmer weather day.
