    • Generally great, but a few things to consider if upgrading
Style: FLOOR ONE S6
This replaced my S3 that i bought in 2020, which worked great until a pump failed. I believe this and the S3 are generally very equivalent in overall cleaning ability. Compared to the S3: The S6 can get closer to baseboards and some obstacles because the brush is open on both ends allowing it to do a better job at edge cleaning. Also, the brush housing is slightly more narrow, so it can get into spaces the S3 could not, such as between a toilet and the wall. Definitely a positive. However, the brush housing is just a fraction taller than the S3 so it doesn't fit into to cabinet toe kicks by just the smallest amount. I'm not crazy about the S6 fresh water tank. I find it harder to fill and to insert than the S3, though it does appear to be a bit larger and the design does appear to allow the dirty water tank to be a bit larger as well. Longer clean times are good, of course, so maybe this is a fair trade. The S6 prompts when the fresh water tank runs empty and my S3 never did (though I think it was supposed to do so). The S6 seems to go through battery life faster than the S3, but not enough that it is ever an issue for me. The S6 definitely takes longer and uses more batter during self cleaning, but appears to do a better job at self cleaning. The S6's dirty water tank seems to do a better job of catching debris at the top. Overall, I am very happy, but I am also very glad that I did not buy any of the alternate models with extra features, such as steam, because if the mop head was even 1/16 of an inch taller, the inability to get under toe kicks would have made it far less useful. If you can can't clean under your cabinets,, you will have to spend as much time with another tool just getting those areas. ... show more

I don’t normally leave reviews unless a product really exceeds my expectations. The Tineco vac/mop is one of those products. It is a god send. I have been struggling for years to clean my hardwood floors with Swiffer and Bona mops. All they did was push around dirty water leaving behind a dull film that would show every single footprint making my floors look dirtier than they did to start with. The Tineco is cordless making it super easy to use. Run time on a full charge is about 45-50 minutes. To top it off, it has an auto clean function that makes clean up a breeze! My floors have never looked shinier of cleaner and I’ve never been happier with a product!!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY! ... show more

This is actually my 3rd vacuum/mop. The first one, the battery stopped charging after a few years and I took advantage of the extended warranty I purchased at the time I bought it (I always buy the extended warranty). They refunded me my full purchase price and I purchased another. That one, after a couple of years, started saying dump the dirty water tank when it was empty. I have to send it off to get it fixed. I am saying all this to give you a glimpse into the reliability of the vacuum/mops in general. This new vacuum is very similar to my last one but it also gets closer to the edges of the wall. A couple of weeks ago, I started getting the same message about the dirty water tank on this machine. I can't tell you how upset I was to have 2 inoperable machines. I went online and found a solution. The dirty water tank has to be thoroughly cleaned every time you use it, especially the 2 metal things that go into the actual tank that are attached to the cover of the tank. It's best to thoroughly clean the entire machine every time but if you don't have time, you have to at least clean the dirty water tank. I also tried the thorough cleaning on my old one but it didn't work. Anyway, my overall review is my floors would be very dirty without it. I have 3 dogs in my house and I use it every day to get up the dirt they bring inside as well as the dog hair. Other mops do not clean the floors. They get some of the dirt but if you run a white paper towel over the 'clean' area, it will come back dirty. I have done that same test with this machine and it is clean. As far as the rest of the features, there's very little difference between this one and my S3. If you can afford it, buy it. If not, buy an older version and it will work almost as well as this one. Sorry for the book but I really wanted you to see the reliability as well as the need to purchase the extended warranty. Hope this helps you decide. ... show more
