As of Dec 2023, this is the best cage for modern GoPros. It has the most mounting holes, magnets or switch’s for all components - nothing cheap or flimsy, 2 cold shoe mounts, the camera slides in rather than a clip on frame so it is more secure, has metal mounting ears that are held in place with magnets, the battery door is super useful but you can also use in conjunction with waterproof OG door by removing the magnet-mounted buffer or removing the whole tilta battery cover, it even has an optional 52mm lens mount which by itself looks dope, and the whole thing is precision fitted together. The media could not be loaded. In terms of build quality, it's brilliant and the design itself looks amazing! My GoPro 12 fits snug and secure, everything is great with one unfortunate issue - the battery door doesn't fully open to allow you to replace the battery, so you'll have to remove the GoPro from the cage to replace the battery. For someone who can't afford to waste any time on demanding shoots, this could be an issue, otherwise it's not a big problem. The cage itself has a USB opening for charging access but you'll need to purchase a separate battery door with an opening for the USB input to replace the original door, but from the options on Amazon, you'll be sacrificing the waterproofing. If that's not an issue, I recommend it but not the door with the USB flap since that'll defeat the point. All in all, I'm still happy with this purchase! ... show more

Full cage protection for your GoPro. Easy to install. Good access to all controls when cage is on. Offers multiple mounting points. I only wish it had a rubber seal for the charging port. If you need a cage to protect your GoPro, why would you not need to protect the ports as well? This oversight really limits the utility in my opinion. ... show more

Have been using several Tilta camera cages and accessories, and they always come with great quality. This GoPro cage fits from Hero 9 to the latest version without any issues.
