This is a quality boot at a reasonable price. When I got it, that was the first thing that a noticed was how well made it was. I put them on and it was a little tight and somewhat on an effort taking them off. I take responsibility for that, see many reviews suggested you order one size up, I did not do that. I am a size 8 and going by the foot chart, I had what I thought was enough room inside the boot. Actually if they make half sizes I would have been ok. So my advice, go up one size, you will be glad you did. I had to return the size 8 for a 9. I should have listened to the reviews, I could have been enjoying my boots instead of waiting on a larger size ... show more

Sent back & ordered smaller size as they’re great boots but… next larger size still too small so sent them back too. Too bad though as they would have been perfect for working by our pond that has snakes at the edge in some places.

Updated; Use good socks. Even with good stocks my toes/feet can still cold. But not bad as my first review. Besides temp, they're good boots. Soft, comfortable, broke in fast and easy. No complaints except the cold feet. But that's a big complaint.

I was afraid these boots could be too hard to get off once my feet swollen after wearing them all day. To my joyful surprise, I can still get them off even though my feet do swell everyday due to my health and age. (71) I wore them in 92 degree days and wore them in 34 degree weather. They never got too hot, and did not get to cold, unlike all the rubber boots I have used in years past. I certainly do enjoy using these snake proof boots, every hunting day. I don't need a separate pair for summer, then different for winter in South Carolina Low Country Area. I did get one size larger than my shoes and leather work boots. I will purchase these boots again if I every destroy one or a rattle snake strikes one. I don't use boots again after they have been hit by a rattler or Cotton Mouth, I retire them and purchase new again. I recommend anyone looking for a comfortable, easy on easy off rubber boot to try these. ... show more
