Pros: - Love the video call option! - Very good connectivity - Helpful notifications - Super easy to get activated - Able to monitor his messages from my phone Cons: - Tracking is not accurate at all! Even when at home connected to home network, the watch is always tracked miles away. I can't tell whether my son is at home or school because it tracks him close to the same phone tower. Completely useless unless knowing their city location is good enough for you. - You have to call and text through the app which is a bit of a hassle, but most importantly, it often causes delays in notifications when the app is not consistently updating - The band is too small (my regular-size 8 yo says it's too tight). I haven't been able to find options for a different band - His watch always defaults to use Wi-Fi calling. Not great if you're on the move and not tied to great internet connection. - Text messages are automatically blocked, even if they are from approved contacts (or me!). It seems the only way to communicate is through the app. ... show more

My daughter loves it , the Watch is very versatile and has a lot of features. It is very user-friendly The app interface very well with my phone to control the features. I was able to use it locally and abroad to keep track of my kid doing summer camp, easy to install a SIM card. Location is very accurate but sometimes I need to reset closing the app to refresh and update from last recorded location. I bought the watch for my 5yr old since we moved to a bigger city and it has been awesome! It was very easy to set up, the cell plans were surprisingly cheap, my daughter loves having a camera with her to take pictures with her friends at school. Being able to set alarms and reminders for her has been a game changer! There are a few complaints. We live near lake Michigan and there has been a few times (like 2-3) the the gps was wonky and I'm assuming maybe it was because of that. Not sure tho. My second complaint would be that it does get a little warm if she's really playing on it. It's not been warm enough to cause any pain or discomfort. Overall I'm very happy with it. I just got my TickTalk today after I had a scary incident where I was late picking up my son from the school bus stop (single Mom, no family in immediate area who can help me) and I was afraid they would drop him off and leave a Kindergartener by himself outside. I couldn't get ahold of him to tell him to go to the store below my apartment for safety... Anyways, I got this watch for him and set up has been long but very thorough. It seems like a well made product and they take child privacy and safety seriously if the set up is any indication. You can pre-approve contacts, block strangers, and all sorts of other cool features. If I can remember, I'll come back to update once we've had it for a while, but I javelin a feeling it will work out great for us. ... show more
