Thule knows how to keep it simple for the best results. This footrest simply snaps into place. It can then be pulled up for a footrest or pushed down and you won’t even know it didn’t originally come with the Spring model.

Great product, ridiculous that Thule is ripping their customers off by not including this and a bumper bar standard. This is really just a money grab to make you pay extra
