Received this item as a free product and used it with my existing flemish twist string. This was easy enough to install and did quiet down the bow quite a bit. However, with this much mass, the bow shot much slower. Good quality product.

I am so glad to have found these fur strips! I had a beaver fur toy on a string for years and it was so well loved it wore out. These strips are perfect to replace the worn out toy.

    • Leather is very weak !
As others have said, the fur leather is very weak and started snapping apart as I began wrapping my bow string. In multiple places. I just received it yesterday and today it's in the trash can. I'm very disappointed and now looking for a replacement with better quality.

Product works good at dampening string vibration sounds on recurve. Also gives your bow that old timey look. Will be buying more to add on all my recurves.

These do quiten down the string some but for me the look is what i was after and you can't get a better look for a traditional style bow

    • Not what I expected.
Beaver fur arrived today, very fast shipping. It looked good in the package but when I unwrapped it... One piece was nice thick hair with lots of long hair. The second piece, not so much.
