These are strong and last as well as others I have used. Good grip until you stretch out the finger ends or use chemicals that soften the material. Just like all better chemical (and stiffer) resistant gloves. Cheap enough to toss when you need a change. I'll buy them again when these run out. I need good gloves for the glueing, painting, and cleaning I do. I don't need this type of gloves to protect from general handling of wood and metal but these would help some. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with these gloves, but I though, "eh, I'll give them a try." I needed something a bit more heavier than what I have been using. The thinner ones constantly tore at the fingers during rough mechanical use, and was constantly changing them out. I don't mind getting dirty hands, but these heavier grade are wonderful, as they keep solvents, gas, and other noxious liquids from soaking into your skin. You don't want that for sure! I was very happy with these. Very heavy duty, fit perfectly, not loose, (I have large hands, so I bought the large gloves.) You can also use your phone with these gloves as well. They have a slight rubbery smell to them, but it's not bad at all. I only needed ONE PAIR to do an entire job working on the car, and even after finishing up, the gloves had NO signs of tears, or splits. They are very rugged. They are also very stretchy which is nice! I am totally sold on these! I defiantly will order another box of these when I get low. ... show more
