I have ordered the cinnamon bagels many times however the product has changed and not for the better. There was no cinnamon taste ( I checked the wrapper to be sure they sent the right ones - yes it said cinnamon) The texture was awful. I will miss the good product it used to be !

Keto bagels. Used to buy locally but not sold near me anymore. Bought two packs of 6 each for almost $26.00. I know what they used to look like and how they were packaged over a year ago. Will not buy again. Bagels were smashed and carelessly packed, fused together and did not come apart neatly. They were very soft so that when I put them in my bagel slicer and used a bread knife to cut them, they ended up in even more of a squashed glob. Not acceptable and not appetizing. Difficult to try to cut, toast, and then eat a deformed, soft, gooey glob. I complained and gave details but was ONLY given a 50% refund. Poorly made, poorly packaged, poor business practices—-in my opinion and experience. Sad. ... show more

These are "bagels" that have no carbs. They're a bit more like a hamburger bun with dimples than the texture of a real bagel. They also toast more like a bun. However, when you're on a low-carb diet, they satisfy the craving. They also cost a lot more than a regular bagel, but that's also standard for low-carb foods. I’ve tried all of the ThinSlim products: bagels, bread, & pizza crust! And for keto I think they are a really good products and taste really good. I purchased some carbonaut bagels and the bagels started falling apart when I tried to cut them down n half! Horrible bagels!!! I noticed that there are some people that say it doesn’t taste very good and it’s either cardboardy or spongy; that’s probably because they are making it the wrong way! 1. First important do not microwave these bagels if they have just been in the freezer! 2. Never, put these bagels or bread in the toaster, the toaster must change its texture because that’s when it taste like cardboard!!! 3. The best way I have found to toast these bagels is when you take them out of the freezer let them thaw for a little while or take them out the night before how many you want to use and put it in the refrigerator to thaw out. Only around 10 minutes and they start to thaw out, but do not try to thaw them in the microwave. 4. And then put some butter, I use quite a bit of butter in a fry pan and I toast these bagels in the fry pan I medium heat with butter, and they turn out really really good!!! Very tasty! 5. After you toast them with butter in the fry pan and they get all nice and crusty and toasty looking, you can put cream cheese or whatever you want on top of it and it makes it even taste even better!!! 6. My husband likes them toasted in the fry pan just with butter, and I like them toasted in the fry pan with butter and or sometimes I’ll put whipped cream cheese on top of it too. Both ways turn out great!!! Give it a try! The best bagels I’ve had so far have been the better brand bagel but you only get four in a package and they’re very expensive, but they taste just like real bagels!!! I haven’t been able to find them at the stores anymore lately, so I don’t know if they’ve been discontinued or if they are still selling them, but they have two types of bagels: one that’s a plain bagel, and the other one is an everything bagel, and both taste great!!! ... show more

Have you been searching for a food that defies what, until now, seemed to be the laws of physics with respect to matter and the absorption qualities of a "bread" as it relates to a liquid e.g., melted butter? Then look no further. Each package contains six individual science experiments for you to perform at home. You will be amazed when you open the package to find that within is contained what appear to be light, fluffy, nearly ordinary bagels. Held to the nose, olfactory senses will assure you that it is indeed a cinnamon flavor awaiting your tastebuds within. Placed in the toaster or toaster oven they will even appear to react to heat in the same way our human eyes have observed other bread-products respond: they turn slightly brown, the top and outside layer becomes crispy and the level of crispness seems to correspond with the amount and length of heat applied to the experiment (bagel). Apply a soft butter or margarine product and again, human eyes will observe it melts onto the surface like countless other bread products. However, alien technology or organisms hiding beneath that thin façade of reality have been activated. Your eyes will grow wide in amazement at your first bite: the butter is gone. There is no flavor. Somehow all the flavor that was placed atop the bagel has been absorbed into what must be some kind of anti-matter containment system or micro-singularity. You will find no butter taste. Lies told to your eyes and nose are realized as there is similarly no cinnamon flavor present. My best description of what is signaled to your tastebuds is that if there was a bin in which all of the sawdust from a dozen woodshop classes held in middle school classrooms during the 80s were kept and it was similarly combined with tepid water kept in a rain barrel made of remanufactured plastics from a Chinese takeaway somewhere in a rural community where no one orders Chinese takeaway. These are baked in a kiln ordinarily meant for bricks used in quaint front gardens that no one plants anything and instead uses the space for dumping ashtrays and other refuse. And yet, even what flavors you think you might get from those things are similarly wiped away into a level of nothingness that would give even the most enthusiastic nihilist a moment of pause. It is an achievement in science. Truly inspiring. However, if you're looking for a tasty simulacrum of a bagel that you might accidentally mistake for a real life bagel or begrudgingly accept as a "tastes similar" with the usual regrets one has when one tastes a "diet" version of a familiar food.... run. Far. Fast. Don't stop running. Never look back. Don't even think of it again. Haven't you been lied to enough in this life? Don't you deserve at least a competent lie and not this inept tomfoolery that, as far as lies go, is as convincing as those told by a 3 year old and yet lacking the cuteness? Thin Slim Foods tells much better lies than this. My closest approximation, albeit using my software developer analogies, is that it is the Microsoft Bob or Clippy of their products (said with love). ... show more
