Silicon band on top too large in diameter

The stockings are attractive and comfortable, although I had to shorten the silicon band by about 4 centimeters by adding stitches. I had to do this as otherwise the stockings fall down.

I was very surprised at how well these stayed on my thighs. I wore them for about 6 hours and they stayed in place all day and I have pretty thick thighs . They were also very soft. Really impressed with these leggings!

The stockings are a good fit and stayed up with no problem for most of the day. The silicone was comfortable, no pinching. One leg did slip a little bit by hour 6, but not so much that I needed to do an emergency repair. I have the type of body that pantyhose and tights do not fit, so I am always loo
king for thigh highs to wear for work (no bare legs permitted at my job). These did not snag or pill up, and feel as good and smooth as a more expensive pair. I'll be looking to see if there's a nude shade to match my pale skin and will buy again as backups for the super-spendy compression stockings 🙂

Impressively great stockings!

Don’t be fooled by the price, these are silky, well made stockings! I was really impressed by the quality of these. First, they have an actual foot shape rather than being a tube. Secondly, the nylon material is super soft, but not super delicate- this doesn’t mean they aren’t snag proof, but I have
worn them at least 8 times and haven’t had a snag yet. I compare them to a much better made Hanes thigh high stocking with more stretch and less prone to runs/snags. They do feel very delicate in hand, so obviously you don’t want to yank them on, but even when I’ve been less careful with them, I’ve been impressed with how well they have held up. I’m tall with a 32” inseam and the lace reaches all the way up to the very top of my inner thigh. The first wear they were a tad (1-1/2”) shorter (but not a problem as I’m used to that with my long legs). However, the second time I wore them I noticed that they stretched out in length (nowhere else, meaning they don’t lose their shape). Lastly, the manufacturer is generous with the silicone grips on the inside of the lace panels and the lace is also well constructed in that it doesn’t seem prone to pulling or ripping. As a reference I purchased another brand on Amazon for more money and the lace top of the stocking ripped first wear (and I am quite gentle when I put stockings on as I know they can be delicate). So that was a bummer. For the price these are more than great and much better than the Hanes I was buying for years (which actually are quite prone to runs).

Elegant , very high quality nylon.

These are very elegant, love the feel. Buyer beware the stitching on the top of the sock was freyed , I had to seal the stitching or else they may have unraveled while I was wearing them. (Maybe?)

Protect the stockings while putting them on

Before I purchased the stockings, I read all the reviews. On most reviews, I noticed the runs and damage displayed were near the top of the stockings where the most stretch would be pulled. I anticipated that the pulling on the adhesive band alone might tear it off. While putting them on for the firs
t time, I pulled them up gently and stretched them in place as they went up. Believe it or not, I used a pair of latex gloves to keep my fingernails from damaging them. I am not a petite woman so I ordered the largest size available even though there was a chance they might have been baggy. Not the case here. They fit nicely all the way up, and stayed up.

sheerness changes with stretch, length overall helpful

I'm personally leaning towards more sheer lights as being my favorite, and these fit the criteria pretty well. I liked how it wasn't like some other tights where it's only sheer if you stretch it a lot because I'm only 5'1 and I'd prefer if it was already sort of transparent so there would be no issu
e if it started slipping down for some reason. These also had a really nice design! I love the look of the lacing on top I feel like its a nice complimentary touch to many outfits! Especially with a plain skirt, this adds an accent to it (which is how I plan on wearing it)! And, the feet part of the stocking was well stitched too. But since it does stretch to your own height, it can't shape itself into a certain feet size, but that's what's necessary with a versatile design that I'm completely okay with. It doesn't ruin the look of feet at all, it just makes it look more smooth if anything. But, I will say that since the stretch material gets sheerer at the top rather than the bottom that the feet will look less see-through than the thigh section. To add, keep in mind that because there are different types of thighs that are larger than others, some thighs in this might look a bit sheerer than yours, or vice versa; especially because this is designed to be that way. Also, I'm thinking of using this to cosplay maybe next year because of how good the material feels. I've only washed it once so far, but I feel like the material is pretty durable and can last a good while so I'm excited about that! So overall, I really liked these. My only issue was how it smelled when I first opened it. It has this very factory-chemical smell to it, and when you open the leg opening it has this sticky residue to keep it intact. I thought it was some type of glue, but it's actually the rubber that's there to keep it intact when you wanna pull it up higher, which does make sense. But this is one of my first stocking purchases so it might be normal? Anyway, the smell comes off quick with a wash in the washer/dryer; it's perfect after that, I just wouldn't recommend wearing straight out the box because the smell is pretty strong. Also, when you first put it on it lands straight at your knee (at least for me), you have to pull it up and let the rubber hold it at your thighs for it to be thigh-high length. I think this is because once again it's made for more sizes to fit into so I think that its a reasonable design.

These have rubber inside the top to keep them up, but they don't stay up well. I have skinny legs so that could be why. But they don't stay up unless I'm wearing something that clips to them.
