  • Excellent mattress
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches Style: Winglock Valve
Just returned from a trip to Cumberland Island, this mattress is super comfortable and very lightweight. A tad bulky however well worth it because the insulation is fantastic. Night temperature went down to 41F and there was no feeling of cold coming from the ground. I’d buy it again.

  • Great Car Camping Mat
Size: Regular - 20 x 72" Style: Winglock Valve
I like the Trail Pro Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat because I don't have to huff & puff to blow it up. Thermarest does all the work for me. It is comfortable to sleep on. The first night the pad slid around but then I realized that there is a smooth bottom side and a more grippy top material. Problem solved when I flipped the pad over. Durability: only time will tell. I do put a closed cell sleeping pad underneath for a little extra protection. It is a little heavy for backpacking. I use the Thermarest NeoAir XL for backpacking. ... show more

  • Perfect firmness
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches Style: Winglock Valve
Small amount of air made for perfect firmness. If it's too firm , just let a little air out , while your laying on it. If your big, you'll want 25" wide.

  • Nice stuff sack with a higher R value than my older shorter Therm-a-Rest self-inflatable
Size: Regular - 20 x 72" Style: Winglock Valve
I have a older shorter version of this pad, 49" long, something like the newer ProLite. I decided I am tired of propping my legs on my pack while sleeping so this pad fits the bill. About this new pad, looks ribbed which is shown in the listing photos but it really has pronounced ribbing (ribbed foam) inside. This was a surprise. The wing lock I suppose is an upgrade. The old valve style worked fine for me. The valve is one-way it is only for inflation, not deflation. I was hoping the valve would prevent re-inflation when I was rolling the pad up. Not a big deal. With a cited R valve of 4.4, this is an upgrade from my older pad. Another review complained about thickness, measuring 2.5", not 3.0. Well, I care about the R value. and T-a-R cites 3 inches, and 2.5" rounds to 3! Ha! Note the pad does not come with a repair kit. I've had my older T-a-R for years without puncture issues. No big deal. The pad come with a nice stuff sack with straps. Nice touch. I am happy and worth 5-stars. ... show more

  • The most comfortable pad I've ever used
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches Style: Winglock Valve
I've been backpacking for nearly four decades across the Rockies, during all four seasons, and have used a handful of different pads over the years and this pad is BY FAR the most comfortable pad I've ever used. When I was younger my body had a higher tolerance for a bad night's sleep and even after not sleeping at all, after a few cups of coffee in the morning, I'd be fresh and ready for more hiking. As I've aged, a restful, painless night is paramount and this pad does the trick. It can get hard if you over fill it; so be careful. But once you get it right, it's as good as a nice matress! Not for minimalists, as it does pack a bit larger than the tiny pads. But if warm, rested sleep is what you're after, this pad is a must!! ... show more

  • Kept me warm, but I would slide of of it easily
Size: Regular - 20 x 72" Style: Winglock Valve
Kept the cold ground off my body, but the shape caused me rolling off, so I was fighting with it all night. It’s not self inflatable, you have to manually inflate it. It’s fairly heavy, but rolls very small. I ll try inflating it less next time, but that would compromise the R value. I really like the structure of my Klymit. ... show more
