  • It cut my mattress weight in half
Size: Regular - 20 x 72"
I replaced a Flash that weighs twice as much. I've spent 4 nights on the UberLite. The fabric is noisy, but the mattress is comfortable. The regular size is narrow but so am I. ** Examine your package and test the mattress before hitting the trail. My first shipment came without original packaging or instructions. And it appeared to be an outdated model. And it leaked. Already returned once? A replacement came in an unopened retail box and works great. ... show more

  • Size choices are terrible. Pad itself is great!!
Love this pad but hate the sizing choices. My ideal pad would be 22-23 inches wide and 55-60 inches long. Sleeping bag companies figured out more than 20 years ago now that people don’t sleep like stiff straight logs. The stopped making super narrow mummy bags and started smart shaping them to give space for people to bend their knees, move their feet slightly apart, keep their arms folded up by their chests. Yet, these pads are still designed as if people still sleep like stiff straight logs and don’t have arms (or more specifically - elbows. Gasp!!!) Want to lay on your back and look at maps on your smart phone? Too bad for you, your elbows won’t fit!!! Want to roll over at night? Too bad for you, as you will fall off the pad unless you completely wake yourself up and use your hands to rebalance yourself on the balance beam of which a 20 inch wide pad is. Want to curl up on your side on a cold night in the jack knife position and have warm knees? Too bad for you because both knees won’t fit and at least one be freezing as it rests on the cold tent floor. Want to set up your tent on the last campsite available which is slightly sloped? Too bad for you because pad is so narrow you won’t be able balance in the middle of it due to the slope and you will roll off it repeatedly during the night. I’m also not sure why the comfort choices are full length or torso length. Why not knee length?? I personally don’t care if my feet hang off a pad but do want my knees on the pad - especially when side sleeping. Once your knees fall off a three inch high pad, your body goes akimbo. If your feet dangle off, no big deal. Plus, there’s generally something in your tent that can support dangling feet but not something big enough to support dangling knees, at least not comfortably. My ultralight backpack is too delicate to take the kind of abuse my knees would give it night after night. Per Cascadia Designs. Either you need to buy a giant pad built for giant men or you need to sleep really uncomfortable. A different size selection would be really beneficial. I’m 5’ 5” (65 inches) but to be comfortable in any of those scenarios I have to buy their gargantuan pad that is 2 feet too long just to a few extra inches in width. It’s silly. Back to the pad itself. I got the small. Great pad. I’ve had it for four weeks on the PCT. No leaks. Easy to blow up. Easy to pack up. Incredibly light. Quite comfortable aside from the sizing issues. (I do protect it by using a 1/8 inch foam pad beneath it. The foam pad not only protects it from punctures but also keeps it from sliding around my tent and adds a little bit of r value. I can also use the foam pad during the day as a full length sit pad.) ... show more

  • Yep, it breaks easily
Size: Small - 20 x 47 Inches
As other reviews indicated, it can break easily. Mine lasted about ten nights before developing a two inch (left to right) tear about one fourth of the way to the head side. RIP dear mat.

  • Super light, but be careful with it
Size: Regular - 20 x 72"
I have found this mattress to be plenty warm for three-season camping, and obviously the weight is fantastic. It's not super comfortable, but pretty much in line with the competition. However, you do really need to be careful with it, and even if you're careful, you may end up with a failure. I used my first one for about 15 nights, and then the next morning as I sat up, it totally deflated. The failure was due to a 1.5" horizontal tear that went right to the seam, and I wasn't able to repair it. Since I had a fair amount of success with it before the failure, I decided to give the product another try, so I bought another. On the fourth night, I found myself on the ground after about an hour. Unfortunately the leak was slow enough that I could not find it in the field and decided to return home to use my bathtub cutting my trip short. It turned out to be a very small hole that was repairable. I've used it for a couple of nights since then. Honestly, I'm not sure if I have the confidence to continue to use it for multi-night trips, and may return to my xlite. ... show more

  • Just right for trial sized people
Size: Regular - 20 x 72"
I have used this tent twice now, and I have loved it! It weighs half as much as my X lite, it is half the size and it is just as comfortable. One thing though, I am pretty small, and I fit on it exactly, a bigger person might have some trouble

  • Amazing piece of gear
Size: Regular Wide - 25 x 72 Inches
Absolutely love this product! Even better when paired with the NeoAir micro pump and you can just let it do the job of blowing it up for you. Comfortable and lightweight. What more can you ask for in a pad?

  • Too Small to fit on -- go withe the larger size
Size: Small - 20 x 47 Inches
Never miind the weight savers -- getting the bas weight down to 9 lbs was great -- even added a ultra light chair. But worst choice was to go with the woman's sized pad here -- I am 5-10 and thin, but arms hung off the side, feet were on the backpack. Super uncomfortable -hard to sleep -- never mind the thru hikers hype. Take the extra 4 or 5 OZ -- get the full sized pad!!! ... show more

  • So far it’s OK on the PCT.
Size: Small - 20 x 47 Inches
With the pump this pad is great. We did 27 miles on the PCT the other day. Day 1 - 12 of the 15 were in the snow. Get to camp, set up the tent, put air in the pad, eat and go to sleep. Day 2 was only 14 miles with some snow b
