Nice set of 4 gold plated Buffalo Nickels. They are well packaged and mine came in plastic coin capsules. A little pricey but I think worth the money for the2 sets.

Other than collecting Silver Dollars, the Buffalo Nickel is the only other coin that I collect and this Then and Now set makes a great edition to it.

These are good quality and very pretty.keep in mind 24 karat plated does not mean pure gold…only plated so they are worth the price they are asking but not a lot more. Nice little collectors item though

I grew up in the day when you were just as likely to receive buffalo nickels in change as you were to receive Jeffersons. I regarded both the obverse and reverse of these nickels as special works of art. The Buffalo Nickel may be long-gone from pocket change, but I still admire them as distinctly American coins to be admired for the theme they portray. I have several fine specimens in my collection, including a certified thee-legged one. When I saw these gold-plated items for sale, I just naturally had to add some to my collection. I was expecting the old Buffalos to have a lot of wear, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much detail they had left. I was so pleased with my original purchase that I ordered several more sets to give as gifts. They are very pretty. I enjoy looking at them. ... show more
