  • excellent resource of practical innovation strategies for lawyers, firms and in-house departments
The book is an excellent primer on legal innovation and operations from a thought leader in the field. As an attorney who formerly worked in big law with a keen interest in this area, I found the book very insightful in aggregating the many different ideas and resources out there. It not only helped me sift through what is hype and what is real but also gave a number of concrete examples of what works in both law firms and in-house legal departments and even suggested opportunities for them to collaborate. I found the chapter on why women make excellent innovators particularly inspiring. The author also points to specific resources to check out beyond the book, and the appendix has a number of practical tools to utilize. I can't recommend the book highly enough! ... show more

Clients are becoming more sophisticated and General Counsels and their Legal Ops teams are expecting their firms to step up. But in order to do that, you've got to understand what in-house teams are dealing with, and this book is a great start. ... show more
