I’m organizationally obsessive when it comes to tools. My grandpa taught me “a place for everything and everything in its place”. His tools were always easy to find, and his workshop was a joy to work in. I have a wonderful toolbag, with lots of pockets along the sides, but there were still many tools that had no place and ended up loose in the bottom of the bag. Digging through those miscellaneous tools was always annoying, but I didn’t know what to do about the problem. I avoid plastic whenever possible, so I didn’t want to buy plastic boxes or pouches. I had some tools grouped together in small boxes, but cardboard boxes don’t last long. So I was delighted to discover the Ryker bags; they are a quality product, and a perfect size for medium to small items. The fabric is one that should wear well. There is reinforcing stripping along the bottom fold of the bag as well as along the zipper. The weakest link might be the stitching along the seams and zipper, but even it looks good. The zipper pull and the clip are both metal. The reflective strip across the top of the bag is a nice touch. Makes the bags easier to locate in the bottom of a toolbox/bag. If these were manufactured in a non-authoritarian country, I would have given them 5 stars. They are made in CHINA, so I have reduced that rating to 4. ... show more

I was really excited to get these. I love organizing my tools, and I needed a pouch to keep my tire puncture kit in for my vehicle. These bags seemed like they would fit the bill. They're actually quite large, maybe too large for just a tire puncture kit, but throw in a pressure gauge and maybe some spare valve caps, and one of these will be perfect. I love the colors on these bags. They have a very vintage feel to them, with the colors chosen contrasted with the olive drab and desert tan reinforcements and the stitched logo, they will look quite at home in my '69 Bronco. As far a construction goes, these seem to be well made with tightly woven material like cordura. The insides are lined with some kind of rubber coating, which mars easily, but doesn't seem easy to tear. These are listed as water resistant, although just how resistant is questionable. The shell itself is lined with rubber on the inside, but none of the seams are secured against water intrusion, and of course the zipper won't resist water for long. I'd say they are more splash proof, and probably the best description would be to say they will keep greasy tools from seeping through the shell (unless they are dripping with oil, then I suspect it would find it's way through the seams). The zipper pull is a nice thick metal, and I don't envision the pull bending or breaking off like I've had on dozens of cheap tool bags. The zipper itself is nylon, so rusting won't be an issue. The zipper slides really well, and hitting it with some silicone once in a while feels like all the maintenance I'll need to do. It's also got a clasp for attaching to something. It's not my favorite type of clasp to use, it's a spring steel style one, but it should last pretty well with the simple design. These are very roomy for a tool pouch, but they are not a tool bag. I could not load one with an entire screwdriver set for example. The long screwdrivers were just too long, but the remaining 10 fit in just fine. If you need some decent capacity tool pouches, these are the ticket, especially if you like the retro look of these. ... show more

Nice strong rugged bags. Ive only used 2 of them and havent really run into a situation where the water resistance was tested but overall so far in my use they are really great! No complaints so far!

The quality of the pouches seem to be very good, but the dimensions of the pouches listed on Amazon are not accurate. If you look of the manufacturers website, the dimensions are different than what Amazon shows.
