I loved reading about Thayer and Salem. I'm glad we got to know how they reconnected, and how they ended up. This was a good book with mild smut, beautiful love, and a HEA. Only did four stars because I was hoping for a bigger plot twist like book one. Still a great read and love story!

In the first book of this series I felt every emotion possible while reading it. I laughed a lot, i cried a lot, i was angry, i was happy and then repeated that circle about ten more times! I wasn't sure how the second book would be, if it could match the first and tie it up into a beautiful little story BUT I am SO glad I had the second book on hand because it would've driven me crazy not knowing how Salem and Thayers story ends. What an amazing ending to this incredible duet. These books gave me so many emotions and I couldn't put them down. Thayer and Salem's relationship is such a beautiful journey, I loved it all so much!

This 2nd book was still kind of sad but unlike the 1st book this one was steamier. Thayer seems too good to be true though lol.

🌼 Review - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 🌼 You all know how much I LOVED the first part of this duo, so I obviously had to get my hands on this one. This was the perfect ending to Salem and Thayer’s story and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap it up. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you’ve read the first book, you know it ends with some pretty traumatic events. This book picks up 6 years after the first one, so it helps to fill in some blanks of what has happened since we last saw Salem and Thayer and how they tried to work through what happened. I’ll be honest, I was extremely nervous when I first started this book but quickly came to love Caleb. I really hope we get to see a separate story for him because I am dying to know where he ends up. I also noticed a few others pointed out that the epilogue was really long, but I felt this was necessary to really wrap up the story and leave you with no unanswered questions. I listened to this on audible and it was narrating by Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas. In the first book, it was narrated by Kasi Hollowell and I felt like she did an amazing job, but I really enjoyed that this had a male and female narrator for Salem and Thayer’s chapters. I cannot recommend this duo enough. I love it so much, I own multiple copies of the book and recently bought the combined duo. Plus, the covers are STUNNING (shoutout to Emily Wittig). The second book was just as good as the first. I’m glad I got to see the love story play out. I appreciated the fact that they went through a ton of real life experiences and had to overcome those. Highly recommend this book.

I was so scared when I picked up this book that I was going to be heartbroken with Salem and Thayer. I was not prepared to get such an amazing ending for one of my favorite book couples. Micalea has done an amazing job at writing age gap forbidden romance books. Well I love knowing where a couple ends up in an epilogue I was so happy to get a full book. It breaks my heart how the first book and did but it was very quickly put back together ... show more
