The media could not be loaded. This is a lovely Scriptural based coloring book from Christian Art Publishers. There are 55 pages of full designs as well as 7 pages of bookmarks, cards, and gift tags. All of the full designs in the book (as well as most of the extras) include a verse from The Psalms. The translations used are a variety: The Holy Bible NIV, the Holy Bible New Living Translation, the New King James Version and The Holy Bible English Standard Version. The Scripture is beautifully integrated into the lovely designs so that, while the words speak to the heart, the colorist can enjoy the beautiful illustrations as well. I like the there is such a large variety of designs but with the grounding of a single book of the Bible. The Psalms are the book I turn to when I am most troubled. The problems the Psalmist struggled with and the words he speaks to God usually find an echo in the things that I am struggling with as well. Here is a brief overview of what I found in this coloring book: 62 Pages of Designs based on The Psalms Designs printed on one side of smooth, white, heavyweight perforated paper Glue Binding Most designs merge past perforations into the binding area Alcohol-based makers bleed through the page Water-based markers, India ink pens, and gel pens do not bleed through the page though gel pens require a longer than usual drying period Coloring pencils were mixed. I had good results with waxed-based soft lead pencils and hard lead pencils in general. Oil-based soft lead pencils laid down good color but did not blend well. Hard lead pencils did not dent the back of the page. I'm so pleased with the beautiful Scripture-based coloring books that I have found recently and am thankful to have found this one as well. ... show more

Beautiful art with beautiful psalms ..it's relaxing and only time consuming (in a good way) if you really want to do a very good coloring job and possibly frame it/them. I'm very happy with my purchase 😊

    • Beautiful, inspirational, well done images. The best of adult coloring. High quality.
I bought 5 different coloring books for my friends this year with inspirational verses in them. This one outshined them all by leaps and bounds. The quality of the images is so much better than others. Unlike other books, the words were not always filled in with black, most of the time you get to color in the lettering which I find meditative and relaxing and helps me focus on the meaning. The images are perfect for an adult coloring level, not too small, not too big, great shapes and flows of patterns that are relaxing, never monotonous and not so small it's just frustrating. Each page brought beauty and life to the psalms. The pages are thick and can be removed for hanging, they tear out easily without ripping the edges and it even includes pages of bookmarks, gift tags and cards. ... show more

Beautiful large book with nice thick paper! I just got this book and LOVE it! Most of the drawings are in gray, which looks so much better than if it was in black. (However, the ones that are in black do make sense!) The last 7 pages are bookmarks, notecards and gift tags to color. I counted 53 coloring pages which are large and one sided. One thing I always check for is if the pages are perforated and these are! Very nice quality paper! I appreciate the variety of pictures! Every page has a Psalm featured The Bible translations used include: New International Version New Living Translation New King James Version English Standard Version I find this book very lovely with great opportunity to reflect and meditate on the beautiful Psalms- I am including the page I have begun to give you a taste of what is inside along with some of the other pages to give you a taste of what is inside. ... show more
