I have an older version of this jacket and I have to agree it is much thinner now and less of a true jacket. That being said, I still like it. It’s a very cozy jacket. I ordered a small and medium. My older one is a medium and is a little big but I’m fine with the size. It is also a way more boxy cut than this newer design. My jacket is probably 4 years old. I preferred the small in this new cut Osito. The medium was fine but quite loose. I did prefer the sleeve length of the medium. I am 5’6” but my arms are the length of someone 5’9” or taller! The small arm length just hits my wrist, I prefer a bit extra but I think I can live with the length for the fit. I wanted an osito that had a more body skimming shape. There’s still room to wear a sweater underneath. I would wear this more as a layer under a coat or around the house than a jacket. Although it will work for fall transition well. The color I got, mallard blue, is gorgeous. It fits me like the model and I’m about 128 pounds right now. Although the sleeves are longer on her. I recommend as a light but warm layer. If you are expecting a thick jacket you won’t be happy probably. ... show more

I'm so glad this jacket still exists for purchase. I had the same jacket for like five years until it got holes I couldn't repair, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get the same model. I was also nervous ordering it off of Amazon, because they often have unchecked sellers who sell bootleg merchandise. Thankfully, this is not the case with this jacket. It's super soft, comfy, fits well and is true to size. (For reference, I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 34DD and got a medium.) I highly recommend it! Expensive but genuine, so it's worth it imo. Finally replaced my last North Face after about 8-9 years. It is sooo soft and fits just like my old one. Slightly fitted and very flattering but not too tight.
