I just adore this jacket; however, even though the size says XXL, the jacket still fits a little too snug. I am still thinking about it . . . if I take out the inner jacket, I may be able to wear them separately.

There were no surprises with this purchase - it is TNF's fiery red (more of a vibrant orange), which performed as expected. It lacks a garter, but it is warm and water repellent.

They sent an XXL instead of plus size 2XL. Not sure it’s worth trying for the correct size as this is an inventory problem and people stocking shelves don’t understand the difference.

I’m really happy with this coat! I can’t speak about the warmth because it’s August in Chicago but the quality seems good. I’m 5’1 with 36DD and I got a large. I wanted room for layers underneath and it fits well. The back just covers my butt and the sleeves are the right length. If you’re tall, this might not be the coat for you. I took off one star because the Northface emblem is a cheap looking sticker. It used to be embroidered. Also, the jacket smells like someone else’s perfume. It was definitely worn before. I even washed it and it still smells. Hope it fades by late fall. ... show more
