This is such a practical and pretty idea for veils to stay put, especially for outdoor weddings where wind can be a factor. My sister is using this for her wedding and she loves the Audrey Hepburn feel of the style.

I didn’t have a veil handy so I tried it on my light cotton dresses, which is what I want them for. I read that Queen Elizabeth had weights sewn in her dresses to keep them from blowing up and I thought of that as soon as I saw these! I think they’re really pretty :) I can’t wait to find other uses for them, too! They are a little hard to place. It seems they want to stick to each other on the side more than they want to stick to the one under the fabric. I wish they had markers for the polarities. Twirling in my dress with all of them on, pretty equidistant from each other still made my dress lift the same amount, so they don’t work as dress weights. However, I was impressed that they didn’t fall off when I put my dress on (over my head, even!). I decided to drag my dress around on the carpet to simulate a veil. I held it behind me and didn’t look at it while I walked (my family thinks I’m weird anywayXD). Then I turned around and it was still in relatively the same spread shape, so I think these really do work for veils! It’s pretty cool! I even turned around and my dress was still fanned out :) Neat. Out of sheer stupidity, I shook my dress out once up and down…and they fell all over! Ack! Don’t let the bride shake out/fluff her veil with these on! Oh well, now you know and won’t make the same mistake I did… The presentation is lovely! The drawer box, the pastel blue sueded pouch and the pleasant quote in cursive; it’s pretty! It’s gift worthy! I got these double sided magnetic veil weights to be an extra set of weights for my daughters wedding this weekend. The forecast is for 15 mile an hour winds, her wedding is on the beach and my daughters veil is real long. The packaging for this set of veil weights is beautiful. The box is pretty, the velvet bag is sweet, and the pearls individually are very pretty, and very little magnet shows, but in the velvet bag the pearls do not attach evenly to each other. They look like drunk veil weights because some weights don’t attach magnet to magnet. Most of them are crooked. If you look at my pictures, you can see most of the magnets connect sideways to the pearl, not magnet to magnet like my other set does. If you’re using these on a wedding veil, they have to connect perfectly to look like a pearl on your veil, if using them to hold your slip in place underneath your skirt then this will work fine for you. I had purchased another set on Amazon and they magnetically work much better, but they are not as pretty because they have a silver magnet around the base of each pearl. These are more pearl looking, with less visible magnet. UPDATE: I upped my rating because the veil magnets worked out fine once placed on the veil. I used these on the thicker part of the bottom of the veil. I used both sets. They really did help keep the veil from blowing uncontrollably in the wind. Nobody had seen these before and everyone kept asking me where I got them. I saw these used on TikTok and so glad I got them, they were a lifesaver for us. It’s definitely a bride must have. We did lose a few when my daughter walked across the street for pictures, I had two sets so it wasnt an issue. ... show more

I had a “retie the knot” ceremony in Jamaica and I wish I had these for my veil. It was a bit windy and my veil was flying everywhere which interfered with some of our photos. These weights would have been perfect. But I found these after my daughter got engaged and knew I had to get them. They are very unique and beautiful and integrate so nicely on the veil. They will be perfect for her simple veil especially since her wedding will be outdoors. No more fly-away veil issues if there's a little breeze. ... show more

My 19-year-old daughter is obsessed with pearls lately so I got these for her to add little accents to her outfits now and save for her wedding one day (in the distant future). She likes to put them in her hair because they easily magnetize around her hair in an updo and it's absolutely stunning. They also attach to her shirt to close up a wrap style that might show too much cleavage. They're just so versatile! Love these little magnetic pearls and HIGHLY recommend them! ... show more
