    • Brown girl lipstick savior
Color: Chocolate Spritzer
If you are a brown girl who wears either a MAC foundation in NC/NW45, in C and deeper or it's equivalent (like Fenty 400+, Too Faced in Chestnut, NARS in Macao, NYX in 17.5 or deeper, etc.) then this lipstick will most likely be a real/perfect nude. But one of the other things I found that Chocolate Spritzer is good for is taming other lipstick colors that were too bright for us. So if you have a lipstick that you bought in the past that was too bright or was for someone who is lighter, all you have to do is put Lip Bar's Chocolate Spritzer on first and then layer the overly bright lipstick over it and BAMMM! That annoyingly overwhelmingly bright lip color you bought but couldn't return may now be a color that you can actually wear! After I discovered this I bought another one because God knows I have a draw full of lipsticks that I considered to be failures that I can now actually use! Hope this works for you too! The color is gorgeous! It feels comfortable and doesn’t dry your lips out even though it’s matte. And I wore it all day and ate two meals today with very little reduction in color. Obsessed!!

    • Too Expensive for What You Get
A slight disclaimer- I have dry lips that are prone to reactions (from diet or environment) so I often have dry lips and must apply gentle lip balm often. I wanted to get this lipstick because it is vegan and hopefully good for gentle skin. While I experienced no major issues with it, this lipstick, in my opinion, is too expensive for what it does. It’s a gorgeous color but does not apply very smoothly. I recommend using a lip liner if you use this lipstick because the edges are hard to even out. It does last for a few hours without reapplication, but past that I had difficulties with it. It does stain your lips slightly but it isn’t too bad. Overall, it’s an okay lipstick but I probably wouldn’t purchase it again. ... show more

    • Easily removed, gorgeous color
The color is bright. It has more of a bluish undertone than the pictures show, making it appear a hint fuscia at first. The lipstick is silky and smooth, so it won't dry your lips. It does smudge, smear, and transfer easily, but it's great if you're just wearing it a few hours. Even with all the smears, a layer of lipstick remained on my lips. It didn't come off fully in any spot until I wiped it off with a tissue, at which point it came off beautifully without leaving my skin and lips dreadfully stained. It'd be even better for someone who wears lipstick often, so is used to not being a disaster by eating and drinking and touching your face constantly like I do. I don't even wear lipstick that often, but I'd like this in an additional color or maybe the lip gloss as I prefer that type of makeup. ... show more
