I love this item. I am glad I bought it. I am a huge Evil Dead fan and this is great. I only wish there weren't licensing/rights issues with Army of Darkness so that it could've been included in this as well.

Iconic Movies from Sam Raimi. An absolute masterpiece of both horror and dark comedy. The box they come in is rad too and makes for a nice conversational set piece.

Not a fan of the book feature, worried about scratching discs. My Evil Dead 2 disc does not work. But a great set at a great price!

The perfect set to buy if you're a fan of the Evil Dead series, the only thing missing is Army Of Darkness but you could always just buy it on its own, preferably in UltraHD Steelbook form if you have the tech to watch it with.

This box set is amazing, especially for the price. Packed with all the special features I'm ever going to need. Like some included with older collector sets for the original Evil Dead that are hard to find for a reasonable price. I didn't have the money to get nice s*** like that at the time. Evil Dead 2 seems to be the 25th edition, which is a pretty good edition. Sure this doesn't come with Army of Darkness, which makes sense considering that Ash versus the evil dead doesn't count Army of Darkness as part of its story. They kind of spliced elements of the first two movies and pieced together an intro for the show. The show I guess wasn't allowed to use any of the Army of Darkness stuff. It is a "evil dead collection" not "the complete Ash saga" or id be disappointed right along side ya! With that said, even if they could include Army of Darkness it's a kind of a good thing it doesn't come with it. What you want to get is the collector's edition of Army of Darkness that includes all of the different cuts of the movie. Trying to put all of that into this set would have probably made this one expensive mother! With so many Discs to juggle into the book. ... show more
